Monthly Rentals in Óbidos Municipality

Had a lovely stay here. The home is cozy and right along the Great Wall that surrounds the city of Obidos. Home is just steps away from two of the finer restaurants in town and steps away from the wall entrance. Parking right in front of house was very nice, as most places did not offer this. Beds were comfortable, with lots of extra pillows & blankets. There was even a bottle of wine & fresh fruit waiting on the table for us. Lovely stay here!

The Banyan Tree is a wonderful spot. Obidos old town is very near by and the spot has a great view. The house has everything we needed. Its cozy and very pretty.

It's hard to adequately put our appreciation of Linda & John's warm hospitality into words. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We felt like we were staying with family we didn't know we had...in Portugal. Over the years, a number of our AirBnb stays have been nice but clearly run by businesses - some with leasing 'agents' that were more accessible than others, but businesses all the same. Linda, John, & their daughter are real people & their sweet canine family members Lucy & Bobbie are real doggers :-). The very personal feel of the stay we enjoyed in their home is reminiscent of the concepts we're under the impression AirBnb was founded on - genuinely welcoming homeowners who are eager to share a glimpse of the little piece of the world that they love with their guests. We were sad to leave our new friends & very hopeful we can stay in touch. And now with a limited # of characters to work with... we've at least tried to put our appreciation into words.

The decoration perfectly combines traditional elements and modern touches, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to the stunning beaches and the center of Peniche, without losing the tranquility of a more reserved house. The well-equipped kitchen and tasteful little details make all the difference, making the stay even more special. The hosts were extremely attentive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Definitely a place to go back and recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming experience in Peniche!
