Vacation rentals with a kayak in New South Wales

Such a lovely, spacious place which was perfect for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. It was right near both the beach and the river which provided some lovely scenic walks. Will definitely be staying here again thankyou so much Lishia for having us!!

I could not recommend Josie’s property enough. It was absolutely amazing. The most beautiful home with the most incredible view that doesn’t get old. We could have stayed there for weeks! Perfect location and very private, the extras for example bean bags out the back, hammock, outdoor shower, balcony and the lake was just perfect. Bed was comfortable and great bathroom. Josie was a great host and couldn’t recommend enough. Would love to come back soon

Unlike some homes we've stayed in, this one was very well equipped for the six of us. The rooms and beds were comfortable. There were several, generously spaced areas to eat, relax, play games and chill. The kitchen had a plethora of bowls, platters, trays, pans, cutlery, utensils, bottle openers, etc. We brought a our own blender for cocktails and it would have been nice to have had a bigger coffee plunger but other than that, we were set to cook up a storm and have fun. I think the favourite features were the vast amount of equipment on hand (boards, bikes), the outdoor shower, the deck and the air conditioning.

Fantastic property for a large family to have a great break away together. We all thoroughly enjoyed this well presented house with everything needed on hand for a relaxing weekend. Thank you for allowing my family to make memories!

Greatly enjoyed our time at the lake house, Beautiful surroundings right on the lake with an amazing view. And it’s also close to surrounding beaches. The house is stunning, perfect for a family get away with it’s separated spaces. Anna was a very responsive and helpful host. Would stay again :)

This place is absolutely amazing! Beautiful house, well set up with everything you need and we especially loved watching sunrise from the deck (or going for a morning paddle or kayak). Yes those 110 steps are a bit of exercise but it’s absolutely worthy! Can’t wait to come again.

This is one of the finest water front getaways in Sydney. Fantastic for a romantic escape or a family holiday. The home is modern luxury right on the waters edge with panoramic views of the Georges River and beyond It’s got super comfortable beds, a big bath tub, a massive TV and a heated deck where you can enjoy a meal or a drink. Steve is a terrific host; and will greet you at the property and give you tips on attractions and fine dining options in and around town. One of the best luxury and unique rental holiday homes in Australasia. 10/10 🙏

We loved our stay at Lemon Tree Cottage. This gem is not only comfortable, clean and new, but Julie is a fantastic host. The cottage had everything we needed and more! It is so well stocked and Julie has been very thoughtful in what is provided to guests. We really enjoyed how peaceful the area is and we loved enjoying a delicious coffee in the backyard. I can’t fault a single aspect of our stay and we hope to visit again soon. Thank you so much Julie!

Killarney Cottage is very comfortable, with a lovely rural setting. Anna"s little extras were much appreciated and enjoyed. She and Rob are great hosts. Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short, but we look forward to returning as soon as possible. Would highly recommend Anna"s place for a quiet peaceful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We love it there. Barb and Charlie

We stayed at Bec’s while attending a sailing regatta up the road. Close to Toronto which was convenient but it was so lovely coming home to the cottage in the evenings. Beautifully furnished with all appliances needed, friendly and helpful host and great location. Perfect peaceful hideaway for two. It was very difficult to drag ourselves from the lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Thanks for a great stay!!

Wow oh wow! Add this please to your list asap. Amazing and peaceful place with the most incredible hosts. So close to everything live the dream at the beach and then come back to the amazing sounds of the bush. Will definitely be back

Such a beautiful spot - we felt the photos really didn’t do the place justice. It’s a perfect spot regardless of the weather - if sunny you can enjoy the river and the sunshine but when raining, you can lie in bed with the patio doors open and listen to the rain. Definitely hope to be back!

The cottage was perfect for our family while we attended a family wedding in Woodend. We were a party of 7 staying at the cottage - myself and my husband, 3 teenagers and elderly parents. The set up of the cottage was perfect to accommodate everyone. Very comfortable, beautifully presented and lovely and clean. We all wishes we were staying longer!

We had a lovely stay at this waterfront property. The views were stunning and the little touches, like a bottle of wine on arrival, were a nice addition. The host was friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. It’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway and we’d happily stay again!

Sue & Tony were greats hosts and very hospitable. It was a lovely farm stay amidst the massive farm. We had the freedoms to walk through the paddocks and be with the animals when we like. The place was very relaxing and homely too. More importantly, the hosts were great with amazing local recommendations and even offered a walk with them on the first day to go through the farm. Respects privacy and great place to relax after all!

Jenny’s place was clean and tidy and equipped with everything we needed. The location is peaceful and just a short walk to the beach. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in Liz and Larry’s Patonga cabin. Comfy and very clean well equipped with everything you’ll need. Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts. We arrived on a hot day and were welcomed with the AC on and some cool goodies in the fridge. There is easy access to a lovely walk along the river. Part of the front beach at Patonga is off leash for dogs, and the Boathouse Hotel and the ferry to Palm Beach are dog friendly. Looking forward to returning.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Acute Abode. It exceeded our expectations, truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It looks exactly like the photos (if not better) and the property is incredibly peaceful and quiet.

I recently stayed at Chris’ property, and it was absolutely fantastic! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into making the space both comfortable and welcoming. Loved it.

The only negative we could think of was that the ceiling fan made a bit of noise. Like ceiling fans typically do. That's literally it. That's how much we had to go looking for anything other than glowing positives. This was the best AirBnB experience we've ever had, in a simply incredible location. Pictures don't do it justice. We will definitely be back. Just amazing. All of these reviews are the same for a reason.

This is our third visit to Heartwood. Very hard to describe how special it is - the house and the environment surrounding it are perfect.
