Ronnie is a great host! The house is beautiful spacious, and feels like home. Ronnie is thoughtful and makes sure that you have everything to be comfortable from extra linens to games and everything for morning coffee. He was great about checking with us throughout the week to see if we needed anything. Our trip was Christmas week and the outdoors was so beautiful and peaceful.

Me and my family enjoyed staying in Elle’s place where we had the full use of the lower floor which has its own deck facing the lake. All 3 bedrooms are pretty big and the living area was great to hang out with. The Place is very quiet.

This place was such a wonderful place to host a reunion! The lake view was so peaceful and the home supplied everything that we needed! I would definitely recommend this home for a stay.

This was a Christmas getaway and it was a pleasant surprise that the house was decorated for Christmas!! We loved it. Plenty of room for our growing family and close to everything we wanted to do in Nashville.

The lake house was just perfect for our family Christmas! The living room even had a lighted Christmas tree there for us. I made Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a wonderful meal in a kitchen that’s not my own. The house was very clean and comfortable. The view from the house was peaceful. Having a fireplace was definitely icing on the cake as we had temps below freezing. The house is only 30 minutes from Nashville which makes it so easy to pop into town to do things. We did have a couple of minor maintenance issues and Seth was right on it taking care of us quickly. He made us feel welcome and is such a nice person! I would definitely come back to the Lake House again. Perhaps during the summer when we could enjoy the water toys.

Home was cute and very private. Lorena was very easy and quick to communicate and was super flexible with us! I would highly recommend and would definitely rent the same place if I were to come back.

What a perfect place to stay for anyone looking for a Nashville getaway! It’s the right distance where you aren’t having to pay Nashville prices, but close enough to drive into town. Raymond and Ethelene were perfect hosts, too! I strongly recommend, especially to anyone traveling with pets. As soon as Ethelene came down to greet our little Wilbur, I knew we were in good hands. I will say the space has a low ceiling, so if you’re taller than 6’, you may have some issues. Overall, though, it was a perfect spot and I will definitely be keeping this in mind for the future! :)

Beautiful scenery lots of nature and wildlife to see. very peaceful. property was absolutely beautiful. host was fantastic and friendly. he even checked on us the following day to make sure we didn't need anything. 30 Min from downtown Nashville. Great private location in the woods. Close enough to Franklin but, far enough away to enjoy the wilderness and serenity.

We had such a great stay! We came for a 21st birthday trip and this was PERFECT for the 4 of us to stay! The host was very accommodating, replied quickly, and let us check in early when our plans had changed. The space was perfect for everything we needed to do. It’s a short drive to broadway and the downtown area, very convenient location. It was private and a fairly quiet area besides the construction going on across the street. Would 1000% stay here again!

When searching for somewhere to stay in Nashville it can be difficult and overwhelming however, Don and Dora’s cottage not just because it has its own dock and an awesome cottage feel or the fact that they allow dogs ( which not many do) but it was how we were treated by them. They answered all of our questions fast and even sent us a video. I can’t thank them enough for allowing all of us to stay. From roasting marshmallows in the back yard to fishing in the mornings to even seeing deer come up to us. This place was everything we wanted and needed. Nashville was 20 mins away and the neighborhood was amazing. I will recommend everyone stay here don’t waste your time with anywhere else. We will be back! Thanks again Don and Dora!

We had a lovely and relaxing thanksgiving get-away. The kids really enjoyed the 2nd living area downstairs (as did the grown ups).

I was surprised when originally it said check in time was 5:00 PM couple days prior to checking in. I did reach out and he responded right away that nobody was there day before and we could check in anytime after 1:30 which was a huge relief. I had not seen a check in time when I booked. Everything about the place was as described and perfect. Note: there are no lights on the dock for night fishing. Matt at no time said there were and when I asked him if there was a place to turn on lights he actually said we could run into town purchase something and he would reimburse us. I thought that was going above and beyond. Fishing was great. It was a very nice place. I did pay more than I usually do after fees and taxes more than I usually do per night. After our stay I would be tempted to pay the money to stay there in the future. Matt is a great host.

The property looked like the pictures. It was supplied with many more amenities than other Airbnb properties. Almost anything we could want was already supplied. They even had a pet station with supplies. We had a little hitch getting into the property, but were contacted immediately and it was promptly fixed. The property was beautiful, with lots of wildlife. The downstairs hvac system was very inconsistent, but we were able to make it work. The check-out instructions were very reasonable compared to other properties. Don & Dora supplied a very in-depth guidebook for the area. If we weren’t visiting locals already, it would have been very useful. Over-all, it was a very enjoyable trip in a very comfortable house.
