Vacation rentals with lake access in Nashville

My family and I booked this house for our Christmas vacation. The home was beautiful and cleaned spotless. We had everything we needed and the location was right on a lake. Very peaceful and quiet. We had absolutely zero problems. We will stay here again. I recommend this place. It’s absolutely just like the pictures shows, gorgeous. I did not have to contact the host for any reason or stay was wonderful. Great job making our family feel safe and right at home. Thank you for great hospitality.

The check-in process was seamless, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The space itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Ronnie is a great host! The house is beautiful spacious, and feels like home. Ronnie is thoughtful and makes sure that you have everything to be comfortable from extra linens to games and everything for morning coffee. He was great about checking with us throughout the week to see if we needed anything. Our trip was Christmas week and the outdoors was so beautiful and peaceful.

Me and my family enjoyed staying in Elle’s place where we had the full use of the lower floor which has its own deck facing the lake. All 3 bedrooms are pretty big and the living area was great to hang out with. The Place is very quiet.

This place was such a wonderful place to host a reunion! The lake view was so peaceful and the home supplied everything that we needed! I would definitely recommend this home for a stay.

Our family enjoyed Shannon’s place so much. This was one of the best places to stay near Nashville if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place. Shannon place is very specious, very large lot that gives you plain of privacy and comfort. We loved the water view even though it was too cold for us, I’m sure this would be great as well during the Summer time. I would highly recommend Shannon’s place and plan to return as well.

Loved the pool set up! Easy drive to Nashville for a couple days we did down there yet far enough away that we were very secluded. My husband, father, and brother-in-law loved being right on the lake to fish.! There are multiple deer that visited us on the property and we saw a few eagles as well

My colleague and I rented Lorena’s space when we were in town for a weeklong training. She was a great host, and the house was exactly what we needed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and the access to the lake was really cool. Oh and I just loved the fireplace! I will definitely rent here again!

Great place to stay outside of Nashville, the river had a gorgeous view and there’s a nice little balcony as well. Was around a 20 min walk to broadway but the weather was nice so we didn’t even notice. So many places to get ready (lights and vanities) as well which was so helpful and a HUGE closet to put everything away in. All hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Brand new unit and building! Check-in was super smooth and parking was amazing! The building was beautiful within a peaceful neighborhood, and the room is equipped with everything! Love to visit again!

Wade met me and let me in. Gave me a tour of the home with lots of local recommendations. Extremely helpful and super friendly. Jonathan called me later that evening to make sure everything was going well, and that my check-in was pleasant. Great hosts! Highly recommend. The home exceeded my expectations...was clean...and the location was beautiful!

When searching for somewhere to stay in Nashville it can be difficult and overwhelming however, Don and Dora’s cottage not just because it has its own dock and an awesome cottage feel or the fact that they allow dogs ( which not many do) but it was how we were treated by them. They answered all of our questions fast and even sent us a video. I can’t thank them enough for allowing all of us to stay. From roasting marshmallows in the back yard to fishing in the mornings to even seeing deer come up to us. This place was everything we wanted and needed. Nashville was 20 mins away and the neighborhood was amazing. I will recommend everyone stay here don’t waste your time with anywhere else. We will be back! Thanks again Don and Dora!

Absolutely wonderful home by the lake! Atmosphere was amazing and the home was squeaky clean. Plenty of parking and all appliances were as advertised. Short drive to some great dining and made for an easy drive to downtown Nashville. Beds were clean and made up, with plenty of space to entertain. Highly recommended home at a great location. I was surprised when originally it said check in time was 5:00 PM couple days prior to checking in. I did reach out and he responded right away that nobody was there day before and we could check in anytime after 1:30 which was a huge relief. I had not seen a check in time when I booked. Everything about the place was as described and perfect. Note: there are no lights on the dock for night fishing. Matt at no time said there were and when I asked him if there was a place to turn on lights he actually said we could run into town purchase something and he would reimburse us. I thought that was going above and beyond. Fishing was great. It was a very nice place. I did pay more than I usually do after fees and taxes more than I usually do per night. After our stay I would be tempted to pay the money to stay there in the future. Matt is a great host.

The property looked like the pictures. It was supplied with many more amenities than other Airbnb properties. Almost anything we could want was already supplied. They even had a pet station with supplies. We had a little hitch getting into the property, but were contacted immediately and it was promptly fixed. The property was beautiful, with lots of wildlife. The downstairs hvac system was very inconsistent, but we were able to make it work. The check-out instructions were very reasonable compared to other properties. Don & Dora supplied a very in-depth guidebook for the area. If we weren’t visiting locals already, it would have been very useful. Over-all, it was a very enjoyable trip in a very comfortable house.
