Alison's cosy lighthouse cottage is fabulous. The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. We stayed here at the beginning of January 2025 with our two dogs and despite the cold weather, we were super cosy and comfortable. The open fire is fantastic and the cottage is equipped for everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and it's such a peaceful location. Proximity to Clifden town is perfect (just a couple of minutes walk) so there is access to wonderful restaurants and pubs when not wanting to cook. I couldn't recommend this enough as the ideal place to get away from it all while still having the comfort and convenience of lovely town on your doorstep.

Siobhan is so easy to deal with, super responsive & welcoming. Sarah checked us in and out, gave us lots of recommendations including a local kids Halloween party our little lads loved! We’ve been coming to Ballyconnelly for years but our family has expanded with other halves, grandkids and dogs! My sister rented Siobhan’s other cottage and we had a fabulous family holiday in beautiful Connemara. This cottage is spotless, cosy, modern and warm. You couldn’t ask for more for a holiday home, it comes equipped with everything you need. We had our dogs with us too and it’s so lovely to find such a beautiful house that allows dogs. The views from the house are spectacular and it’s a 5 min drive to stunning, quiet beaches and Keoghs pub/ restaurant/ shop - where the food is delicious! We loved our stay and will be back soon for sure! Thank you Siobhan & Sarah!
