Vacation rentals with lake access in Munich

It is a place worth revisiting. On the way to the rental house, we were attracted by the surrounding scenery when we first came here. The clear lake water and the 170-year-old house where you can drink coffee inside. We met some friendly strangers who came to chat, which made us feel like we were in a foreign country and yet it felt familiar. I have to tell you, this place I'm talking about is close to the rental house. When we arrived at the place, the host and his wife had been waiting for us for a long time and warmly welcomed us. They showed us around the place, and the room was as clean and tidy as advertised in the pictures. Since I was in Germany for work, I didn't have much time to interact with the Host, but I could still feel the warmth from the Host and his wife.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Exceptional house with great accommodations. Easy access from Munich by car or train. The lakeside community is beautiful and very tranquil. Will definitely use again.

We spent Xmas and New Year at this house. Cornelia is such a great host. The house has everything we needed for our family! It was an amazing experience!

We had a great time staying here. The area is beautiful, and includes a private lake, trampoline, and sauna. It was a fairly easy quick drive into Munich. It was a great place to relax after a long day. We would thoroughly enjoy coming back someday.

Beautiful, charming house, top equipped, cozy and clean. Quietly located on the edge of the forest, great also for walks with a dog and the proximity to the lakes. Likeable and super easily accessible landlord – highly recommended – we'd love to come back 😊

The accommodation can be described as a small piece of jewelry in the wonderful foothills of the Alps. The kitchen is tastefully and high-quality furnished and very well equipped. The stoves ensure coziness. For us as dog owners, the house was a very good choice thanks to the quiet surroundings with beautiful walks as well as the fenced property. Thanks to the host; the communication was exemplary.

The apartment is modern, equipped with a lot of taste, clean, the kitchen perfect. In the quiet apartment we felt comfortable from the beginning and could relax very well. The paths to the surrounding lakes and excursion destinations were short. The landlady Karin is very kind and accommodating, the contact exemplary and fast. The term Superhost is completely accurate. We can take care of the previous reviews without restriction. We will be happy to come back.

Nice place and very good communication with the host

Daniela's apartment is super nicely decorated and very fantastically located. Directly opposite is the access to Lake Ammersee and you can take great walks through woods and fields, stroll along the lake and from spring also take boat tours from the nearby jetty in Stegen. Excursions are therefore guaranteed :) The apartment itself was super easy to reach, you could park well, the access was via a key box and thus flexible and everything was very clean. I can only recommend the apartment!

House is exactly as advertised. It’s new, modern and easy to stay in. Katti and Stefan were excellent hosts and responsive and helpful at all times. You will need a car as the location is remote, but easy to find. Would recommend as a base for local ski resorts in the winter.

The cabin is located above the country road and is easily accessible. You should rely on Diana's directions and be careful when you turn into the small and relatively steep path to the house. In a larger group, the space in the house is very limited, but Diana had personally pointed this out again. After a short heating, it warms up relatively quickly in the main room, but you should keep the door to the kitchen/bathroom closed. The mattress storage is great and the mattresses are very comfortable. There is room for about 9 people at the table, but due to the table construction it is difficult to find enough space for the legs in the back spaces. The small bathroom has everything you need, but you should be careful to only open the windows when you are out there. We had a small mouse in through the window, which we then had to catch again in an elaborate way and transport it outside (far away). Overall we had an amazing time!

Our short trip to Lake Schliersee was a wonderful break. That was mainly due to the accommodation. The location right on Lake Schliersee is simply fantastic. Every morning, coffee by the water on the jetty, allowed us to start the day perfectly. Really highly recommended if you want to have peace.
