I had an amazing stay surrounded by nature! The place was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offered the perfect escape from the city. Waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh air was truly refreshing. The home was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was a highlight—perfect for relaxing, enjoying the views, or just unwinding in nature.

We visited the area for a local open garden event and the Stoneleigh Miners Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. We felt so warmly welcomed, with thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay not just comfortable but special. Our highlights were sipping port by the fireplace and a peaceful breakfast on the verandah! Tim was a friendly and responsive host and the local recommendations were great. We would very happily stay here again!

Mary and Adrian made us feel so welcome, from the minute we made contact right through to the end of our stay. Amazing hosts and gorgeous property/location, the kids had a ball with the activities provided and spending time with the animals, and as a mum I felt really accepted and supported. Freshly baked sourdough, home grown eggs, and a glass of bubbles on arrival had me winding down from a stressful journey straight away! Mary and Adrian consistently took the time to chat, explain, and interact with us, and we felt like part of their family. Oh so peaceful surroundings and a lovely cottage to stay (with everything that you could need), absolutely nothing to complain about on this mini break. Thanks guys (and Lulu), we had a wonderful time and will look forward to staying again soon.
