Great host and cottage. The location is convenient and there is quite a bit to do. Might even wake up to some friendly cows right next to the backyard if you are lucky! Also has a nice view of the mountains right out the back door.

Shannon has a hidden gem in the rough. This is the perfect getaway for solitude, with close proximity still to the City. I stayed here for a month in the Late Fall, the rain on the tin roof was perfect for a restful sleep. Shannon is very responsive and leaves very detailed instructions that were useful during my stay. The neighborhood is very quiet, it is a perfect place for fast solitude.

I have been to A Shepherd's retreat before and it is still magnificent. It snowed and looked like a xmas card. My friends and I were in the farm house spending time and it was perfect. Warm, clean house with great kitchen. Perfect for long time friends to meet and enjoy the surroundings and each other's company.
