We renovated the 2 story earthenware built in the Edo period and made it a guesthouse. It is not spacious, but there is a kitchen with an IH cooking heater on the ground floor while leaving an earthenware wall or a thick beam.Air conditioner and oil heater are also equipped for a comfortable stay. You can experience the sound insulation unique to the earthen warehouse, the coolness of summer, and the warmth of winter. Please enjoy coffee brewed with freshly ground beans at the on-site Kominka Cafe. 10-20 minutes by car, there are Nagahama Taiko Onsen, Sogawa Onsen, Sugatani Onsen, and Ibuki Yuki.Sister River Onsen can provide coupon tickets (at a discount from the general price).For pick-up and drop-off, please contact us. I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto This house used to be one big guest house, but since this Covid19, I have stopped running the guest house and I started to live here with my wife and 2 kids. However I didn't want to quit so I left the good part. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the concept, The slope in front of the house is hard. There is stairs to go up, check online map before you book.
