Family-friendly vacation rentals in Morocco

Sublime riad in the medina. A hidden door leads us into this establishment. It's breathtaking, a haven of peace in the middle of the souk. Perfect location and close to everything, 5-star service, an unforgettable stay for my wife's 40th birthday. There were 15 of us, suites each more beautiful than the last. I advise everyone to have the couscous prepared by Aziz's staff. A big thank you to you Aziz, for this unforgettable stay.

An excellent stay overall, marked by clear communication and prompt responses that made the experience smooth from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The property is beautifully presented/spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Located in a peaceful, secure neighborhood, it offers the added advantage of being within easy walking distance of the medina and main square/around 15 minutes at a brisk pace. It’s also just a stone’s throw from a number of charming artisanal boutiques that lend the area real character. All in all, a brilliant experience. Sincere thanks to Joëlle, Thierry and the wider team for their warm hospitality. I will return!!

Very good stay in Matthieu's Riad. We were there as a family. This was our 5th stay in Marrakech. Accommodation in accordance with the description and our expectations. Good thing: FATIMA...!! We found what we love in Morocco. Hospitality, kindness , availability and kindness thanks to Her. (we had read the previous reviews and confirm that we say them). Small area for improvement: A few small refreshments are probably to be expected (painting, jacuzzi) but nothing that prevents you from having a great stay. Go there without so much as a second thought!

We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb. We have to thank Philippe for his quick action which got us out of a difficult situation with another booking falling through. He was flexible and went above and beyond to get the place ready for us very quickly even though it was last minute. The apartment was spotless and a lovely quiet space. The bedding was very very comfortable. We felt like we slept twice as long as we actually did!! it was easy to walk into town/to main attractions whilst being a calm and quiet neighbourhood. The local restaurants were also great. We hope to come back one day!

We've been coming to Yves 2 times. This Riad Always beautiful, pleasant, a very nice decoration and a very pleasant atmosphere in the middle of the Medina!! Aziza the lady who is there for our breakfast and others if necessary is very nice and helpful. Abdelrani the driver if needed is of utmost kindness and availability! It offers great excursions at very reasonable rates.

We had an amazing trip to Marrakech. Saïd ensured all communication was clear and arranged airport transfers. When we arrived we were greeted by Adam who provided all the info we needed. Aude was on hand by message to arrange excursions (dromedary ride and dinner in the desert) plus a guided tour of the Medina with a very knowledgeable guide (well worth it if you are interested in local history). The beds are comfortable and we had breakfast made by Aude twice (our choice to have twice out). Great meals at Villa Aaron and Dardar. Marrakech is full of sights, sounds, smells and experience. The people are so welcoming. You get used to the busy streets and it feels very safe. Haggle in the souk for souvenirs to take home and remember this beautiful place.

Location is very good. It is close by to main street, and shops and restaurants. Place is silent and comfortable. we able to rest after long day exploring city.

If you’re not Moroccan, or have not spent much time in the country, be ready for a unique experience. It’s as riad as it gets with all its quirkiness - but all to yourself. It was an authentic experience for the two of us in our party. If getting lost in the alleys of fez intimidates you, this may not be the place for you. Jawad, the caretaker, is exceptionally attentive and helpful. Always ready not just with recommendations but also to walk you out if you need directions. Kitchen has all the appliances, wifi is surprisingly strong, hot water is aplenty. Bathroom situation is unique. The one full western-style bathroom is four flights up so beware of that. (There is a squatty potty on the ground level.) The rooftop terrace has nice open views.

We had a lovely stay at Khalid’s place. So much space and so quiet despite being so close to all the busy spots. Very central. Has everything you need. Khalid is a great host and extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The terrace is a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset after all the walking. Khalid organised taxis from the airport (even with a delayed and very late flight) and again back there which really helped and cooked us a lovely breakfast on our first day. Would highly recommend

Zakaria's place is quiet and very well located for visiting Marrakech on foot. 10-15 minutes from Jamaa El Fna square A large bed 2m wide in the front bedroom and another 140 cm wide in the second bedroom, the second bedroom has no window but it was not at all an inconvenience for me. The bedding is very firm. The bathroom is small and a little faded but functional and with a toilet. There is toilet paper, liquid soap and air freshener. Bathroom linens are provided. In the kitchen, there was everything you need: dish soap, towel, sponge, hand towel, note that there is no microwave. The accommodation accessible by a very beautiful Moroccan front door is located on the first floor and by a staircase with steps a little higher than the average, nothing bad but you have to know it. The terrace on the 3rd level gives unparalleled views of the city and the mountains. We will be back.

An exceptional stay in a villa perfect for families! The kids had a blast with the outdoor games and the small farmhouse added a magical touch to our stay. Quiet, clean, and perfectly suited for young and old alike. We'll be right back!

Laila has a beautiful riad in a very quiet location with beautiful roof terrace. We immediately felt at home and were warmly welcomed. The riad has spacious rooms and is very tastefully furnished. You can walk to the souk, shops and restaurants in a few minutes. We had a wonderful week. We will be happy to come back. Best regards and see you soon.

We had a great stay at Anne-Marie’s Airbnb in Tangier. The location is unbeatable—right in the Medina, close to Bab Kasbah and Grand Socco, with cafés and restaurants nearby. The area felt very safe. The flat is beautifully equipped with thoughtful details, fresh-smelling towels and bedding, and was spotlessly clean. The main bedroom doubles as a living area and has only a curtain separating it from the rest of the flat, including the very small bathroom. This means the layout is open, with only curtains for privacy. Exception is the smaller bedroom with a wooden/glass door. There’s also a cute, well-equipped kitchen, though no proper dining space. The terrace is accessible only through Anne-Marie’s private house (you get an extra key for that). Anne-Marie was a fantastic host, inviting us for tea and biscuits in the terrace and providing great tips for exploring the city. Overall, a clean, charming flat in a perfect location with excellent hospitality.

I had the best time renting this apartment. it is super central in abattoir area but since it was on 6th floor you couldn't hear the streets at all. The grand taxi station, souk and loads of places to eat is so nearby. we also renting a car that I could park right outside the apartment. The security working at borj was so nice and friendly and always there to help. Not to mention the kitchen had everything you needed to cook food from omelette to couscous. Would easily rent here again!

Very good location and comfortable stay with nice hosts

We were delighted with our stay at the Grenadiers. Communication with Yves was excellent. Hafida was great, always ready to be of service and great cook. Her assistants were also remarkable and always smiling. The children and small children enjoyed the large walled garden and even the very cold pool. The distance between the riad and the city center does not make it possible to walk. Go shopping for food with Hafida was a lot of fun . Although warned, we were surprised by the inability to source alcohol locally. Yves' tips for the different visits were very useful to us. We've practiced them all. The superb hikes in the Atlas Mountains and Anti Atlas have marked us a lot. We warmly recommend this riad for large families with young children.

We had a great stay!! It was easy to message and get help from Fatiha- with airport pick up, restaurant and local info we really appreciated it!! The house is much bigger than we expected from the photos and our big group had plenty of space! The pool was a great hit with the kids and we were sad to leave.

Great place for a big group. We were 3 families with young children for a total of 14 people and the house was ample. The kitchen is functional and had everything we needed. The courtyard with the pool was nice. Communication with Alaoui was easy. I recommend this accommodation.

What a lovely week we spent in Adbou's beautiful villa! The pool and garden area are even more beautiful than the photos. We went with our 3 children (1, 4,5) and they all loved the villa. It especially worked well on the hotter days (27+) as the cold water pool was really refreshing, and the villa stays very cool inside. We needed to do quite alot of super market trips into Marrakech as there really isn't any other local shops- so definitely worth getting a rental car as it's a 30, sometimes 40 minutes trip each way. Abdou and his wife cooked me and my husband a meal on one of the nights which was a real treat. The garden is so beautifully kept and very private, with eating areas etc so we spent most of our time out there. Inside the kitchen had everything we needed (although I struggled with the drip coffee machine!) and showers get nice and hot. WiFi comes in and out but worked well most days. I hope we will be able to come back again!

Incredible property with airy architecture and a commanding view of the ocean and epic sunsets. The perfect place to unwind. We'll be back!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Lelia's apartment for 3 nights while we explored Marrackeh. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. Lelia was an excellent host and gave us great recommendations. Mr. Hicham was an absolute gentleman and helped organise sim cards and car hire for us without hesitation. The location is fantastic. The coffee machine and fluffy towels were a huge hit😊 Would 100% recommend to friends and family♥️
