This place is perfect to unwind and relax. A beautiful original home, well restored and stocked, all the mod cons, ample room to relax inside or out. We had three generations and the ability to drive to the rivers edge and utilise the outside space there was brilliant. We brought the boat and were able to dock it at the Jetty. Anna was such an attentive host, even popping down to answer history questions about the house! The stocked pantry with all the basics was brilliant. We left relaxed and recharged. Could not have asked for a better location, host or stay.

A return (post-flood) visit for us after loving our previous stay. Great to see how this little old "hut" has survived and thrived. Interior redone very nicely and what a great location, right on the Murray River in your own space. Love the original stone work of the shower wall. Good to see where the flood level was in the kitchen! Very hot when we were there and had no problem keeping the building cool. Thank you Elspeth and well done overcoming the flood damage.

The location was breathtaking, minimalistic but everything you need in such a small house the views and wildlife was amazing and the little walk down to the river is beautiful. Great weekend away, thank you.
