Beautiful house surrounded by nature, an excellent starting point to explore a coast full of surprises and very interesting destinations inside, both in Basilicata and in the nearby areas of Cilento and the Riviera dei Cedri. We wanted to experience Scario/San Giovanni a Piro during winter since we are considering buying a home in the area. Filomena's place made an ideal base for exploration. Although it was chilly outside (and sometimes stormy), the pellet stove kept the apartment comfortably warm. The view over the Gulf of Policastro was gorgeous whether in the sun, fog, or rain. The kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked most meals there, partly because many local restaurants are closed in the off season. But there's a good year-round grocery store in Scario and a reliable restaurant nearby in Bosco. There are also numerous hiking trails that start within a few minutes' drive. Although we didn't meet Filomena in person, she was always quick to respond to our messages. On the day we checked in, her husband met us in Scario and led us by car to the house, which is set away from the main roads (and thus quite private and peaceful). We appreciate their kind hospitality and highly recommend their home.

I stayed the first week of September and I felt very good. The terrace has a beautiful sea view where I can admire the beautiful sunsets. Davide was very kind, welcomed us in person and gave us tips on some activities to do nearby and for the main places to visit. I recommend staying in this small apartment if you want to have a relaxing vacation.

A perfect home away from home. Marzio is an excellent host. His place ticks every boxes. Peaceful, rustic with charm, super clean, well decorated, over the top equipped, extremely comfortable. The cherry on top of the cake is the fabulous housekeeper Maria, always present, yet very discreet, a real addition that makes you enjoy your holiday to the fullest. We have been travelling quite a bit and never been in a better B&B, especially for the quality of the service we received. It’s so true, that when you travel in southern Italy, every family welcomes you like you are part of theirs. You won’t regret staying here. Thank you Marzio, Antonietta and Maria, we’ll come back for sure.

We stayed in this house for a week, impeccable hospitality, clean room and they already made us find several things such as local products, juice water, etc. Nothing is missing in the house and what is there works perfectly. The things that have been most appreciated are the parking in the building space and the extreme proximity to everything you need (sea, evening outings,shops as well as a very short drive you can immediately find yourself on the SS Tirrena). Antonio is an impeccable host who was responsive in a record time in resolving an issue (caused by me). Nothingelseto say, I highlyrecommend it.

Filomena's place is perfect for us traveling with our dogs (and a cat!). Simple but clean, very functional, the extra garden is fenced for the safety of our dogs. Filomena is very nice and friendly, she left us everything for breakfast and also to cook a pasta in the evening. The house is close to the highway entrance, very comfortable for us who were passing through. I confirm that the fence borders the state road but we had no problems and even the noises are minimal. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Excellent location once you find it. We had a little trouble but no worries, the views are stunning. The home is adequately equipped, clean and modern. The train runs close by and takes a while to get used to. The beach is great and there are plenty of chairs, umbrellas and toys. The location is central to nice towns, shopping and restaurants. If you can get to restaurant Vecchio Frantoio in Diamante it’s well worth it. Valerio and Laura are excellent hosts. You won’t be disappointed.
