Jay's apartment is one of the most beautiful AirBnBs I've ever visited. 100% equipped, renovated and with a beautiful terrace from which we perfectly saw the shooting stars and the starry sky. Conflenti is a small town surrounded by nature, where we woke up with the birds. Jay was very attentive and very kind, from the time of our arrival to the time of our departure. Angela and Mariano, his collaborators in the village, were very kind and always ready to help and guide us. Highly recommended for a truly Calabrian vacation. PS: Take a nice shower in the bathroom of the main room: You won't regret the mountain view.

The house is beautifully located, just above the sea. You can enjoy the view of the sea on the covered terrace. It is quiet, you can hear the sound of the sea and the friendly rustling of birds and pretty salamanders. The nature all around is beautiful, in the well-kept garden you can stay well, there are herbs and a lemon tree. Very close you can walk through the fragrant nature on a small path above the sea on the steep coast. In the garden we could use a ping pong table, very much to our son's delight. A highlight of our stay was the friendly welcome of Raffaele, in Italian, with hands and feet, with real warmth. In case of problems, he was immediately helpful and yet mindful of friendly discretion. For four people there was generous space and everything we needed. We were allowed to use everything in stock, which was really very nice! The stay was really great!!!

The beautifully renovated apartment is located in the middle of the old town of Scalea. If you come on foot from the city center, climbing stairs is required. By car, however, you can drive up to the point where only a few stairs are left to overcome. We never had any trouble finding a parking space. Lorenzo was very attentive and responded immediately to any questions that arose.

Filippo’s place was a spacious little gem with an incredible view over the coastline. The apartment was clean and airy, with lots of personal touches from his Sicilian heritage. The view is from the front door veranda next to the walk way rather than a balcony but it really doesn’t matter, it’s stunning. The location is great for getting into both Scilla and Chianalea but beware of the stairs, there really are a lot of them, but as long as you have no mobility issues it should be totally manageable! Filippo was also very communicative and quick to respond so that was very helpful. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

The views here are somehow even better than pictured, worth it for that alone. The apartment matches the photos, the furnishings are spartan but have everything you need for a short stay where you're probably mostly out anyway. The walk into town along the main road has some tight spots without a sidewalk but you can also take the longer walk along the beach. In our group of 4 there were 2 that were woken up by the train and also wished the beds were softer so keep your personal preferences in mind. Minor suggestions would be adding wifi, some extra towels, and regular non-stemmed drinking cups in the home. From the start communication with Francois was excellent, despite some plans outside of his control changing he was proactive on making sure we were able to get checked in with the very friendly housekeeper which worked out perfectly despite the language barrier. If we ever have a chance we would stay again.

Our stay at Elisabetta’s place was great! The apartment is well located in centre of Reggio Calabria, 15 min walk away from sea and 5 min from train station. The place was clean, with a lot of space (3 rooms!). Elisabetta was very responsive and friendly. She helped us in emergency situation and shared tips about our stay and city. We will be happy to book her apartment once we are again in Reggio Calabria. Do I recommend? Totally!!!

The location of the apartment is the absolute dream. Although the house is quite outdated, but furnished with love, the beds are cozy. Arranging something in the bathroom itself. Beach chairs and umbrella are also available.

We spent the Christmas holidays in Giulia's precious apartment. Beautiful, cozy, bright and equipped with everything you need to spend even a few days. Very close to all the sights of the area such as Capo Vaticano, Zambrone and Vibo Valentia and above all with a guaranteed sea view. Giulie was a super responsive and available host. She's certainly The place I would definitely go back in the summer. I literally loved this place, a very comfortable bed and a well-served area. Thanks again Giulia❤️

Such a spacious, comfortable, light-filled apartment for two couples. We had everything we needed, and more. Barbara and Maurizio are so friendly and helpful, and very patient with jet-lagged travelers. Thank you for an excellent visit in Reggio!
