House vacation rentals in Montese

Michael greeted us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and took time to show us around his beautiful home. This was a family holiday with 6 adults and the ample space both inside and out worked perfectly for us all, we felt at home and relaxed. The whole house is extremely luxuriously and well equipped, we used the BBQ and the pizza oven both of which worked perfectly. Michael was always available to help with any questions we had and the location is perfect for day trips to Firenze, Siena etc. We enjoyed a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend Michael’s home.

We searched for months for the perfect place for our family of 5 to spend 9 days in Tuscany- and we found it! This house is located a nice distance from Lucca, Cinque Terra, Pisa and Florence. However- the house and grounds were so beautiful that we were always torn about staying home or going exploring. We spent mornings at the pool and evenings adventuring. Andrea was a warm and kind host, always helpful. We had plenty of room for two adults and three young kids. We are beyond grateful to have gotten to spend time in this special place. The photos don’t do it justice. Do not hesitate to book this! Really such a special place. Thank you, Andrea and family.

Monica was very nice and communication was easy. We had a good time. She even left the pool open for us. Unfortunately it was too cold and rainy that week but we still enjoyed the stay.

We had a wonderful time at this dream house! Magnificent views, beautiful decor and good amenities, plenty of space inside and outside, magnificent garden, great pool, friendly (few) neighbors. All round beautiful! Recreation and tranquility for the adults and play facilities by the pool for the children. The village is enchanting. The way to shopping and to Lucca is absolutely doable when you get used to the serpentines. And the path is definitely beautiful! The remoteness makes up the peculiarity & beauty of the place. Lucca is a beautiful city! Vittoria is a very kind host. Everything was easy and the contact was very pleasant at all times. We are thrilled and would like to come back!

It was a nice time staying at this place. You have a lot of space for yourself and a large pool without being able to disturb big people. Communication with Allessandro also worked well with the help of translators.

We found ourselves at home. The house is so beautiful, and everything was spotless. Needless to say, the views were spectacular. Barbara was very nice and was always very attentive in case we were missing anything

Great place yo get away from the rush but close enough to easily get to Bologna and local attractions by car. Pier was a great host!

Romantic Alcova a stone's throw from the city center but with the qualities of the country house, quiet and retired. Beautiful property where we spent a week relaxing and that we used as a base to visit Pistoia and the Apennines. Mrs. Gianna, an impeccable guest. I recommend it

Comfortable and nicely appointed three bed / two bath apartment within walking distance to Luca old town. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend as an AirBNB. Host provided check-in and other information well in advance, and lots of helpful tourist advice / information about Luca and the area. Found Luca a great base to explore Tuscany.

We spent totally peaceful and refreshing nights there, and yet this small apartment is in the middle of a village! The bed was comfortable for us. We felt pampered by our host, even though he didn't allow himself to meet live. The value was great for us and we could come back to try the summer season rather than winter.

We stayed here 3 families (6 adults and 4 children between 2 and 5 years old). we already stayed here last year and like last year, everything was great. In addition, the second bathroom was renovated this year, so both were new and modern. the host was very accommodating when booking the stay. in addition, he provided us with a third crib, on the day of arrival he allowed us an early check-in and on the day of departure allowed us a later departure, which was very appreciated by small children. every day was cleaned the pool, which we ended up using only at the beginning of the stay due to the weather. with small children we appreciated the large fenced garden.

We leave with lots of beautiful memories. Lara is infinitely warm and kind. The place is absolutely great, in a beautiful area, with a great view, in nature… well, just cool. Thank you:)

Really well-kept mountain house, warm and with everything you need. Quiet area and with the possibility of reaching the center in a few minutes on foot. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice hosting by Annalisa. The house is large, very well-equipped and in a quiet area close to Lucques by car. Good advice from our hosts, especially for eating good pizza!

Very nice, well-maintained villa with beautiful garden. A car is urgently needed, as you still have to drive up the mountain for about 15 minutes from Montecatini Terme to get to the accommodation. But it is rewarded with a stunning view. Cristina is very friendly, helpful and easy to reach. We would recommend the villa at any time.

Like last year, I stayed here with my friends for the lucca comics, a super choice due to the peacefulness of the area and the spaciousness of the house

This is a fantastic location for those driving into Lucca. Parking is easily accessible just outside the ZTL but still within the city walls, making it a short and convenient walk to the house with luggage. While many reviews mention it, it’s worth emphasizing—this place is exceptionally spacious. It’s at least twice the size of other rentals we’ve stayed in that were described as “spacious,” which was a wonderful surprise not fully apparent from the photos. The extra room made it much easier to relax. We arrived on a cold evening to find the heat already on, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The host provided extra towels, body wash, shampoo, and excellent hot water pressure. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed having a radio and desks in the living area. The WiFi worked well. Communication was great, and check-in and check-out were simple. I would absolutely stay here again.

Loredana was an incredible host. There were 16 of us celebrating my birthday. She was super accommodating and kind. The villa is an oasis! It looks so much better in real life than in the photographs. We will be coming back! Thank you Loredana and Alessandro ☺️
