Monthly Rentals in Mombasa

Absolutely loved my stay. Faith helped with literally everything, I only had one night between two trips and she took care of my food delivery, made sure the housekeeper came to wash the clothes (the housekeeper was LOVELY btw, forgot her name), she even brought me for breakfast the next day plus organised my transfer to the airport. The place is nice, it can get very hot but there’s a nice garden and you can always open the windows and turn on the fan. There’s a microwave,fridge, oven… so you can cook if you want to. As it was fast I couldn’t walk around but when the driver brought me to the airport it was less than 20 min drive to the center and Fort Jesus and old town so I’d recommend if you’re staying for a while. Great and romantic place with an ocean view, even in the dark, when you cannot see, you could hear it. About 15 minutes to the beach by slow walking. Take into account that there are no stores nearby, you can buy food at the Naivas super- or foodmarket (better in my opinion). Far enough from the historical center and the railway station. They can be reached by taxi using BOLT service. There are traffic jams in the center, so it takes about an hour to get to the station and the airport. The nearest sightseeing place, which is worth visiting, is the ruins of Jumba. Overall impression, it is a clear, bright, and comfortable apartment. Tap water is awful, but Margret provides clear drinking water.

We had a very relaxing holiday in Wangari's accommodation. We spent there 6 nights. We were always able to reach Wangari easily if we had questions. All in all the staff is super nice and always ready to help. It was possible to have the apartment cleaned by a housekeeper every two or three days. So the apartment was very clean. The security staff, who are there during the night, make you feel safe. The outside and pool area is very nice and well maintained. The apartment is on the top floor directly under the roof and therefore it is pretty warm in there. For a small extra charge, there is the option of using air conditioning in the bedroom. However, we also managed quite well with the ceiling fans and lots of ventilation. The tap water is unfortunately quite salty, but this is probably quite normal in the region and wasn't a big problem for us.
