Where to begin Where to begin? From the very first contact Moudi was responsive, helpful, respectful and precise with all of his communications, whether they were responses to our endless questions about Zanzibar, (as we had never been out of Europe before this holiday) or questions about what turned out to be the most sumptuos villa, (and private beach spot with Mohammed to look after you), a couple could ask for, so yes, Villa Uzuri, and the Host, Moudi, are THE BEST CHOICE you could make for a holiday on an idyllic island in the Indian ocean. Saying all of this does fill us with some dread because we feel we don't want to share our happy place!! Thats how we feel about Villa Uzuri.

A beautiful private oasis! We spent 4 days at Sissy's private villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. From the start, Sissy connected us with a local taxi driver Mahad who was amazing. He picked us up from the other side of the island for a very reasonable fare and from that point on we relied on his impeccable service to help us get around. Sissy's villa is a special place. It is a very basic, no frills, adventure villa that stays true to it's name. The villa overlooks the ocean with a 5star view, something that would be extremely expensive in a resort. You have to take note of the tides but every night we enjoyed an amazing sunset swim all to ourselves. This is the perfect place if you want to just unwind, get off the beaten path, and enjoy some quiet. She provides breakfast which was always nice - a fruit smoothie, tea, fresh fruit and some variation of main breakfast ingredients. The villa is also next to 2 resorts that you can walk to and enjoy their amenities. Would reccomend!

I didn’t have to worry about a thing—the staff took care of everything and were incredibly friendly, especially Ali. Habib was also helpful and responsive even though I booked last minute. I highly recommend this place for relaxation; it’s absolutely surreal! One of the best places I’ve ever been.

This beach house is perfect for relaxing and unwinding and offers beautiful views of the sea. A great experience to be able to watch the tides so intensively. Very slowing down. The host was always easy to reach and very helpful. He also gave many helpful tips. The only downside for me was the power outages and that I could not reliably work online and plan appointments. But the accommodation also invites you to take a vacation, read and relax. Definitely a clear recommendation and a particularly nice place to stay in Jambiani.
