Monthly Rentals in Minnigaff

The cottage itself is gorgeous, spotless and beautifully decorated. There is a generous sized coal fire which we really enjoyed- get this built up to keep you warm as the storage heaters can make things a little chilly during the day in winter. It is peaceful and quiet here and the view from the living room window is beautiful. The bed in the main back bedroom is huge and very comfortable so I can highly recommend! We didn’t use the other bedroom but it looked clean and cosy with a view of the gardens. The kitchen is well equipped and there are supermarkets close by for food and a selection of good take aways. However the local pubs weren’t the greatest. For a short winter break away from the hustle and bustle in a lovely little cottage it’s great.

Loving stay over New Year, everything as described & great communication with Mellisa. Brilliant walk through the Galloway Forest from the doorstep. The cottage was warm & inviting & we had everything 4 adults needed. We will definitely be back for another stay 😊

Another fantastic stay at the Old Toll House! We spent new year in the cottage and it was amazing. The fire was easy to use and kept us nice and warm. The cottage was well stocked with everything we could have needed with a few added extras which were a surprise. It was extremely clean on our arrival and smelled very fresh. The location is fantastic and very central with bars an restaurants a minutes walk away. Communication with Catharine is fantastic, speedy replies and easy to follow instructions on check in. We have stayed at the cottage twice, once in the summer and once in the winter and have loved it both times. We would most definitely book again as we love the area!

Gorgeous stay at The old School house. The house had everything we needed for a girls weekend to chill. The place was very clean and Elizabeth was very responsive to any queries or needs we had. Thank you so much, would love to come back.
