Monthly Rentals in Mdina

There is something magical about staying in the heart of Mdina!! And despite the impracticalities, we’d happily do it again!! This place is a real unique find!!!! We loved being able to walk around after the tourists had left and enjoy the magic of the place. It’s really ‘money can’t buy’ stuff. The property is exactly as described - not for you if you want luxury and all the modern conveniences - it’s quirky and a bit of an odd layout. It can also be a bit of a challenge with parking/traffic - we struggled one day and can’t imagine what it might be like in the height of summer. Would highly recommend coming up the back way to Greek’s Gate via Triq l-Għarreqin. I would say from 7am - 9pm it can be quite loud, but we were out and about so didn’t bother us. It may sound like we’re being negative, but we’re not… we just think this property deserves guests who appreciate it for what it is and don’t expect it to be something else. Great property and very good location. Recommend ta’ Doni for their great sharing platter of cheeses and meats. We also ate at Castelletti restaurant and Root 81 (Michelin star restaurant). All very good.

Maria and Patrick’s house is a beautiful, spacious house, which is full of character and charm in one of the most beautiful areas in Malta. Having stayed in Malta many times before, I have never stayed in a place as unique and special as this house. Maria regularly checked in to make sure our stay was comfortable and to see if there was anything she could do to improve our stay. We were travelling with our baby and Maria was very helpful with providing the necessary supplies and asking if there was anything else we needed for our baby. Thanks Maria and Patrick for a wonderful stay!
