I loved this place and the surrounding neighborhood. It was quiet and peaceful after a day of work. Friendly neighbors, and a nice place to walk your dog. Small town atmosphere which I loved. There were many places and things to do and see, Loretta Lynn's home, Jenny Wiley State Park, Hatfield'ss &Mccoy's feud site, appalachian trails etc. Archer park was a great place to walk or let my dog play at the dog park. Close to other adventers in WV, VA and TN. Jackie was awesome. Friendly and helpful and so personable. She was always open to talk to and kept me informed of any maintenance going on. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and relaxed place to stay. Downtown Prestonsburg waa only a mile or less walk. There you can find festivals going on in the square, dependent on time of year, as well as restaurants and boutiques. Plus if you need a great chiropractor while there, i highly recommend Dr. Leyton Childers ( Bluegrass Chiropractor).

We had an amazing stay. Lots of roads to ride SxS, and close to other trails. Restaurants were close by with good food and a neat little convenience store. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, I loved learning about its history. There was a fire pit, grill and the porch was just right. The cabin was very clean and well kept, accommodating, comfortable and the location was perfect for a get away. We never had to worry about getting a cold shower or freezing at night either, this cabin had it all! Everything we forgot to bring was in the cabin! Regina was always fast to respond to questions, had the best recommendations, very welcoming, helpful and so friendly! What a great family! It was hard to leave. We will definitely be back!
