Monthly Rentals in Lydgate

My daughter and I had a lovely weekend stay. The cottage has been done beautifully and Jane has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. Great wine bar and new bistro in town and easy to get into Manchester by train from station 10 mins away. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our attic suite - warm and comfortable, with everything we needed for our short stay. After a long drive we especially enjoyed the fresh farm milk, butter, jams and bread that had been left for us and felt restored to go and explore after we'd had tea and toast! Although the property is on the edge of town it was very peaceful, set in lovely grounds but only a very short walk to all the shops and cafes of Uppermill. I'd definitely recommend a stay here, and Peter was extremely helpful and responsive.

We had a very relaxing stay. The location above Greenfield is ideal for enjoying the surrounding countryside. but you're also only a mile from the station and a 20 minute journey into Central Manchester. Jackie's extra touches (fresh eggs, milk, juice and bread) were greatly appreciated, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Lovely log burner (with initial supply of wood provided) - what's not to like!

Heidy is such a warm and welcoming host. The annexe was bigger than it appeared in the photos, beautifully decorated and cosy. Fantastically effective wood burner, all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals and very comfortable sleeping and seating areas. We stayed for 3 weeks and have already booked our next stay. Highly recommended for comfort, cost and location!
