Extremely easy going owners, made it very easy to check in and check out. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Extremely well set up, perfect to spend long stays and utilise the kitchen and bathroom. Just far enough to feel away from the hustle of Hobart, but close enough for easy access to everything you could need.

Lisdillon Estate is a private, peaceful spectacular place to visit. Rivulet and beautiful beaches. Wonderful historical buildings and very comfortable accommodation. Great, responsive hosts. 💕

We spent three days at the delightful Saltworks Beach House in February. It was a fabulous and spacious and comfortable place for us two couples ... and we loved having the sea right out the front of the place! Loved the restoration of the very historic Saltworks Overseers Cottage and the sunroom.. The rest was a little too modern for our tastes but we enjoyed it very much, just the same. We loved being able to walk along the coast, and the guys did some fishing and kayaking. Learning more about the Saltworks ruins was also really appreciated. Two of us had previously stayed at 'Lisdillon', a property that formerly owned the Saltworks complex, so we were familiar with this part of the East Coast, and it was wonderful to be back.

Great location close to the local beach. House is well laid out and 7 of us fitted comfortably in the house. Very nice to have some games to play aswell.
