Cottage vacation rentals in Limón Province

Loved it! Highly recommend not Robert and this property. First Robert was very helpful and responsive. He gave us a massive branch full of ripening bananas. Then the property is awesome, every detail has been attended to inside and out. I loved the wooden deck with amazing views during sun set. The gardens and landscaping are lovely. Finally the location is excellent to Chirripó NP as well as local restaurant (don't miss Batsu Gastropub)!

The whole family loved the house. The kids bathed in the pool and the adults enjoyed the Jacuzzi in the evening. We did a BBQ outdoors. We really sucked up our countryesywith the chickens, the horses and the cows on the neighbor's grounds. We even saw their royal peacock! The house is easily accessible from the main road. no need for 4 X 4. We really recommend:)

This is our fifth trip to Costa Rica and Robert's place is one we keep coming back to, we love the setting and well-landscaped private location. The view from the deck is fabulous and we enjoy the hot tub on it too. The kitchen is large and has everything you need. Aquiares is a coffee town and we enjoy walking through the town, the coffee areas, and paths. We are bird watchers, so having a large walking area is great for us. I highly recommend this special Air-B & B and the town of Aquiares!

Excellent place to disconnect immersed in nature and away from the noise of the city, 100% recommended

This is an incredibly beautiful property and is like a mini-zoo. There are sloths, toucans, frogs, lizards and other animals around you at all times. If you stay for a few days, you’re likely to see more animals here than what you will see in the park. If you like to hike, I would recommend getting a taxi to the Puerto Vargas entrance of the park and walk all the way through the park and right back to the property (about 9 km). Marise was very helpful and a great host. We stayed here with our 3 young children for 10 days and everyone had a wonderful time. It is a very safe and comfortable place - and you have maid service (included in the price) every day!

The fifth is beautiful, just as you see in photos, it is fully equipped and easily accessible, the view is amazing in the evenings. Dennis was an excellent host, he responded fast at all times and was very attentive, made us feel right at home, he was very friendly on the day of departure. We would come back without thinking!

Amazing place in the mountains with increíble views! The drive up to the place is a little complicated but very manageable with patience and an SUV or any 4x4. Highly recommend for large groups!

What a beautiful spot in the Central Valley. The view from the house is incredible. It’s a quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance of interesting sites in the valley. Clean, simple and organized, we very much enjoyed our stay here.

Breathtaking view! Plenty of space and convenience in the kitchen. Very quiet. However, bring a small wool, as it is rather cold at night inside the accommodation. I highly recommend this listing!

The gardens and surroundings were beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the chickens and interacting with the two very friendly dogs. We appreciated the rustic feel and the spacious hangout areas, in addition to the environmentally conscious initiatives by the owner. Note that ascending a fairly steep but short ramp is required to access the bedrooms, which may be difficult for people with limited mobility. We weren't there long enough to fully appreciate the river and walks in the surrounding area. Yorleny's help and suggestions were much appreciated.

Nice place about 20 minutes from the beach. Walking distance to Nauyaka Falls. Check in was very easy and flexible. Best to have a car when staying here.

Everything was really great! Chalet beyond our expectations. A short walk to downtown, but we rented bikes from Brigitte's near the Reggae bar and it was great. Diane and Carlos are discreet and caring hosts. Thanks Diane for the homemade granola!

Perfect place to enjoy with your family far from the noise and pollution of the city. Road is in good condition, not asphalted but drivable. Dogs loved running all over the place, the electric car was charged with the 110 v outlet in the porch and there is a clear water river just in 20 min walking.

Carolina and her family were very kind with everything. The place is super cute! Very cozy, the patio beautiful, you can see that they love it and enjoy it very much for the care and detail they have. Everything is super good, highly recommended.

Claire’s home is amazing- you are fully immersed in the magic of the rainforest! Claire is extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Since you are in the rainforest it is worth it to know that you are about a ten minute drive or so off the main road into the forest. We saw all sorts of animals-monkeys, lizards and anteater and we even got a glimpse of an elusive wild cat one night when driving through the jungle up to her home around 1am. It was MAGICAL. Thank you so much Claire for your helpfulness and hospitality. We would definitely stay here again:)

Absolutely beautiful property! The cottage is so cute. Has everything you could need - they even provided food to cook yourself breakfast which was such a nice touch. The river and natural pool are a great spot to relax and soak up some sun. And, if you like to walk, this is a great location. There are trails that connect you to restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studio, etc in the area. You’re in the mountains so expect hills but it’s a nice loop with viewssss! I would definitely recommend and plan to return!

We truly enjoyed our stay at La Perla! Its like sleeping in the jungle but with all the amenities. We saw some amazing frogs and other wildlife in the jungle there. Its right by the beach and is away from the hustle of town but you can easily get to town if you want the hub bub. The pool was super fun and the hosts are extremely welcoming and constantly improving the property.

Pablo was great, he was always responsive, the house has amazing views and a lots of nature to enjoy, beautiful place to relax

Everything we wanted, being in nature, hearing birds, being woken up by howler monkeys. amazing moment. The house is as described. Clean and well equipped.
