Nice place. Responsive host. Beach, restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. Plenty of wildlife: agoutis, green poison dart frogs, and howler monkeys. Great cell coverage if the Internet goes out.

Lovely property and wonderful hosts. Very convenient location, and really well equipped, super clean casita. I enjoyed my stay.

se had such a wonderful time in Happy house the perfect end onto our CR adventure. so wonderful sitting on the deck watching hummingbirds and listening to the howler monkeys. we even had a sloth visit us on the garden. Highly recommend, a piece of paradise

The people at the lodge are wonderful and made us feel very at home and welcome. Breakfast was really good too. We rented bikes from Mister Joseph and the ride to and from town took about 20 minutes because it is a bumpy unpaved rode but also has few cars and ocean views making it a pretty journey. The beach there is very dramatic with lovely sunrises. Isabelle is very active and engaged with the community and environmental projects and is a wealth of information about Cahuita. Roberto is also a gem of kindness and knows a ton about plants and animals.

Casa Viva is a unique place. Magnificent villa set in the jungle filled with wonderful vegetation. Excellent access to the beautiful beach, where guests have access to deckchairs and towels. Water equipment for rent at an additional cost. The villa is cleaned daily, towels are changed daily. Beautiful bathrooms, very comfortable bedrooms. Living room and terrace with a beautiful exposure to the garden. Generally the whole plot is safe, clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped. Luis is a great host. Before our arrival, we received all the necessary information and recommendations of restaurants, shops and attractions. Highest possible rating.

This is an absolutely stunning location right in the forest about 1km from Cocles beach. We were mesmerised by the wildlife, we saw toucans, sloths and many species of birds. The accommodation is really beautiful, perfectly decked out with a great finish. Paolo is a great host and this place is highly recommended.

This was a stop between two of our destinations on our study abroad trip. We needed a lot of beds and this place worked great. Because of our large group, the access to the bathroom in the western apartment (closer to the street) was a bit tricky. The access to the bathroom in the eastern apartment (away from the street) was much easier for everyone. The host was very responsive and the place was easy to find; she helped guide us to a great dinner (Bella Vista pizzeria, $$$) ~10 minutes away. We appreciated the lockable gate for security and carport as there was intermittent rain. The yard was a bit muddy but I think the area had experienced torrential rain recently. All the students slept well and I appreciated the coffee when we got up. We hit the Panaderia Nonna in town (~10 minutes) for breakfast after an errand. Very convenient location for us on our cross-country tour but it would be a very long walk to several places we hit or visited during our stay.

Bruno's place is great to stay. The house is close to the local beaches. The space was clean and the natural surroundings are beautiful. The house was equipped with everything needed and Bruno's attentiveness was fantastic. In general, a great vacation time!

It is a very beautiful and quiet place, you can see different flora and fauna in one place. The hosts always answered my questions and resolved very quickly.

We felt completely comfortable at the place! The bungalow is super nicely furnished and clean and the pool is also very nicely located in the countryside - we loved spending our time here and can definitely recommend the accommodation! Mike was totally friendly, always helpful and responded very quickly, even before the trip he sent us all the relevant information. Thank you!!
