Mohamed Ali is a great host, really friendly and helpful; and this is a lovely, bright flat right on the beach with great views of the beach, the Bay of Tunis and the mountains beyond. It was fascinating to be in a real Tunisian town/suburb rather than a tourist spot, and to discover the local market, shops, restaurants, bakers and street sellers, but you have to be able to speak French or Arabic, and don't expect things to be as clean and organised as in Europe. We loved the fresh fish from the street trader, mint tea, and green almonds. It's also a cheap taxi ride to the Roman ruins of Carthage - we went at 8.30am and had the place literally to ourselves - and a cheap train ride to Tunis and the Medina to buy presents for home.

We spent New Year's Eve 2025 with a few friends at this beautiful beachfront villa, set in a grandiose historical setting. Hedia our kind host spoiled us on this occasion with a delicious cake scented with the orange blossom that she made herself. Thank you for your lovely attention and sincere hospitality. A short stay of which we have an intense memory. We'll definitely stay again this summer.

The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful beach (Sidi Abdelaziz- La Marsa) nearby, while having peace and security. The hygiene, the amenities of the place and especially the extreme kindness of the host make the place a real haven of peace. Would definitely stay again.

Yasmine was an awesome host and this is a great Airbnb in a beautiful location. I really appreciated the teas and espresso capsules, and it's so nice to have the private garden with rosemary, oranges, lemons etc. (The oranges are bitter but I found the juice makes a great detox shot.) It's walking distance to many great things: 3 minutes to hiking trails through trees with beautiful ocean views, 5 minutes to a great little organic shop called Mon Coin Nature, 10 minutes to Marsa Corniche & lots of shops & restaurants, 20/25 minutes to Sidi Bou Said.

The place with its fantastic location right by the sea is beautiful. The hostess was available and very accommodating. I recommend this place to anyone who decides to stay in La Marsa.

We had a wonderful stay at Ashref's place. He was nice, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is fantastic—right in La Marsa but also close to Carthage and Sidi Bou Saïd. There are two beautiful parks just a few minutes' walk away, which was perfect for spending time with the kids. The house has a lovely terrace where we could relax as a family. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it an ideal spot for a calm and comfortable stay. We highly recommend staying here!

The accommodation is at a fair price. The neighbourhood is very safe. The view is incredible. The host was the nicest I've ever met. They gave us useful recommendations about what to visit and they were very flexible about the check out. Great experience overall. I would toatally recommend!

I enjoyed my stay at Lara’s place, her apartment was as described on Airbnb; a comfortable space in a secure building and nice neighbourhood. La Marsa was fun to explore with its proximity to the beach, coffee shops, grocery stores. Lara was easy to reach and always very responsive; a pleasure to interact with. I would come back!

Only one thing to say, GO FOR IT! If it had been possible to give more than 5 stars I would have gladly put it. I have rarely seen a host so welcoming, flexible, warm and responsive! Bilel welcomed us very warmly and gave us all the information necessarily upon our safe arrival and safe trip (activities, nearby restaurant, transport solutions...) The accommodation was clean and very well located. He even let us keep our bags in the place because our flight was late, so that my girlfriends and I could make the most of it. I will take it back without hesitation. A big THANK YOU bilel. See you very soon
