Comfortable and cozy, with great amenities. The pool area was lovely and private with a constant breeze, very comfortable place to relax! The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillow options and AC to keep the room cool for sleeping. Jarden was very easy to communicate with and thought of everything for our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, an easy drive to the main downtown area.

We had such a wonderful stay in Jenny's beach cottage. Our decision to wait for her cottage to open up availability as opposed to choosing a place with an earlier date turned out to be the right one. In fact, I'd say this was the best experience we've ever had with an airbnb stay. It first started off with how accommodating she was. Since my wife and I were working from Hawaii, she helped setup two desks and chairs for us. When we thought a grill would be a nice addition and suggested it to her, a new one appeared the next day. The list goes on. You will be amazed at her responsiveness and her genuine willingness to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The place was clean, comfortable and has everything you would want, including all the beach equipment you need + a beach wagon + two cruiser bikes. At night, we really liked our own private garden walkway which lit up at night with solar-powered mini tiki torches. The location can not be beat - it's literally a few min walk to one of the beaches in Oahu. At the same, it's also within 1 mile of Kailua town with access to poke shops, Foodlands, Whole Foods, smoothie/acai bowl places etc. It's been an incredible experiernce. Don't hesitate to book this place if it's available.

This Airbnb is in a safe and well kept neighborhood. Stores, restaurants, and beautiful beaches are very close to the Airbnb. Tommy was a very responsive host and made sure I had everything I needed. The jug of water was awesome to have since it pours out cold water. And they offer refills! Such a good deal on a rental property in Oahu. The only downside to this place is the neighbors dogs barking early almost every morning, the bed being firm, and it was January (winter) and the unit was too hot for me. Other than those minor inconveniences, it was the perfect place and I loved my stay. It’s hard to find a place that is affordable like this one on Oahu so I’m very thankful I found this place. I would easily stay again!

Teale's place is a great choice for anyone interested in staying in Kailua. My partner and I spent a month, working remotely most weeks. We loved the location because we were able to quickly switch from working, to enjoying Hawaii. The house is a ~5 minute drive from Kailua beach, which is world class and has plenty of parking, and ~8 minutes from downtown Kailua. This area does not allow short-term stays, so being a month+ visitor grants you unique access to a more secluded beach town with plenty of restaurants and boutique shops (along with 4 grocery stores, target, etc). Exploring the rest of the island during our stay made us appreciate it even more - it is a very special town! Teale and her family are incredibly friendly and provided us everything we needed! The photos & listing are accurate. The property is very well maintained and there were no issues with bugs or mustiness. Great kitchen with a gas stove. The living room gets a lot of natural light.
