Vacation rentals with a firepit in Lanesboro

We loved this home! There are so many thoughtful details. The kitchen has everything we needed, to cook dinner and dessert. We appreciate the tea and tea kettle, and all the mugs, for a cozy winter weekend. The living room and dining room area is so comfortable. We loved the puzzles and games and records. Thank you again for a lovely place to stay!

This is the second time we have stayed here, both times at Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas including a tree and outside lights. This is probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever had at a rental. There were lots of dishes, glassware, and pots and pans to make meals. There were also staples like flour, sugar, Zip-Lock bags, coffee and a vast array of spices!!! There were toys in the basement that my 7 yo granddaughter enjoyed. The beds were comfortable and many throw blankets to snuggle under if you wanted. I had a few questions for Holly and she was super fast at responding to me. We love this place and hopefully will spend more time here!

This is an excellent house. Walking around the pond is very nice as well as great walks through the neighborhood. The house has lots of nice features and amenities. It is an easy drive to Mayo. Highly recommend staying with Joy.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. This was a beautiful property. They thought of everything a person could forget. We arrived sooner than expected and we were willing to wait outside but Kathy was more than happy let us in early. The space was so relaxing and so much fun.

Daughters wedding was at a venue in the area and this home was perfect to stay at. Roomy rooms, comfortable beds to get a good night sleep. Also, we had a snowstorm and it was great to have carport to keep snow off the cars. Would stay at again if we are ever in the area.

This place is super cute and cozy. The host has thought about everything. Staying in the dead of winter, I appreciated how warm it was and the added touch of flannel sheets in the bed. And plenty of spices and cookware for making meals. I will rent this place again when in town visiting family!

We've stayed at AirBNBs all around the world, and this was one of the nicest. The layout and design of the space was perfect....main living on the main floor and all 3 bedrooms upstairs. The office space was great, as both my wife and I work remotely. Tons of food, bar and shopping options within a short walk, and the river is just a block away. With no off-street parking, the alternate side parking can kinda be a pain in the winter months (1 night of 3 I had to park a block away)....I would assume this isn't an issue during the spring/summer/fall. We are originally from Winona and come back often. This will be our new go-to place.

We stayed here a second time as it was a great overall experience. Wendy communicated well and was accomodating to our request. It was clean and well furnished. They have a new lazy chair and installed new carpeting.

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

Jami’s place was clean and super homey. The back room gets cold but they have a cute heater back there that we would put on for 30 minutes and it was perfect! So it seems like they’ve thought of everything! Great stay!

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

We felt immediately comfortable and able to relax, which was very important while my husband was going through treatment at Mayo. Hosts were very responsive and always wanting you to be comfortable. Grocery stores are very convenient and close. Excellent accommodations and outstanding hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dawn and Christine's place. Communication was great, as was the instructions for finding and accessing the property. Great spot on the water with several neighborhood bars within a couple blocks. The place was spotless and had all described amenities. Easy check-in/check-out and we appreciated all the local recommendations. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Lacrosse.

Trisha kindly made it possible for us to stay on very short notice. Just the peaceful respite we needed when fog disrupted our travel. A beautiful, comfortable place to stay in the beloved Driftless region. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in Evan and Kristen's Airbnb. They made it easy and convenient to check in and out. I was very impressed with how well-maintained the space is. It was very clean organized, and cozy, and the kitchen was well-stocked with good quality cooking utensils. It is in a beautiful location that is private and quiet, but it is an easy walk to town. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a very relaxing and cozy retreat, the place had a very homey and comfortable vibe. Every amenity that would be needed it had. Read a few books and enjoyed Decorah. It felt very private. Thanks for hosting us!

Stephanie’s cabin was just as described, it was quaint and quiet and simple. The gas fireplace is very nice. You’ll have to bring your own bedding and towels but for just the three of us that wasnt a big deal. The porch was lovely for coffee in the morning!

What an AMAZING TREASURE of a property!! We stayed in the middle cabin, which is conveniently closest to the restroom but not by any means “too close”. Despite having 3 cabins near each other, the views from the windows for the most part made us feel like we were the only cabin and completely surrounded by nature (the skylights with views of the tree tops from bed really took that “retreat” feeling over the top). Sweet bird chirps gently waking us up in the morning, a little hiking trail that was the perfect challenge and scenic level, and hands down the most shockingly clean and cute restrooms for a wooded surrounding just put icing on the cake. I’m very tempted to make the long drive back to check out some of the other properties she has that look equally as cool! Thanks for everything, Chelsi!

The photos, description, and reviews of this place do not do it justice. WOW! What a little slice of heaven. My husband and I stayed at this home with our three elementary aged children over a gorgeous fall weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Jean and Joe did not overlook one detail. The kitchen was brand new, incredibly organized, and spotless. It had everything you could need to cook, grill, or bake meals. The bottled water in the fridge was a very thoughtful touch! The bedrooms were perfect for 2 adults and 3 children. The bathrooms were clean, stocked with towels, and had plenty of everything you’d need. We spent the weekend fishing off the dock (dozens and dozens caught and released 🎣), playing games, and reading books. What a treat! Thanks for sharing this tranquil oasis with us, Jean and Joe! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Beautiful cabin! Very cozy and intimate especially during a winter snow storm! Great host, great place to stay

This cabin is very clean and comfortable. It’s large enough to be adequate in terms of a place to rest, freshen up, and prepare a small meal. It’s not very private, as the front door of another cabin is less than 10 steps from your front door. But if all you are looking for is a clean, convenient place to base out of while enjoying outdoor activities and sightseeing, this is a great option, and the price is right. Highlights are a decent view of the river and a comfortable bed. There is a fire pit that is shared with the other cabin; it’s a pretty small pit so you won’t need much firewood. Jeff reached out the day after I arrived to check on my experience, which I appreciated. All in all, this was a great stay, and I will definitely consider staying here again!

Wow!!! The exceeded our expectations…. They set the bar…. The cabin was very beautiful very relaxing… the hostess answered all our questions…. The view was amazing… my husband I was truly blessed to stay here when we arrived Ashley had our cabin warmed for us when we arrived very early in the morning… I recommend Quiet Cabins LLC …. We had a relaxing and wonderful time … my husband I and celebrated our anniversary and we got even more closer sitting by the fireplace and just talking and living in each other… I HIGHLY recommend Quiet Cabins LLC for all your needs for a wonderful and relaxing get away…
