A great place. It had everything we needed in a well planned compact space. I loved the unusual house plants and enjoyed sitting on the sofa and watching the garden and the view. It was great to have a pub within walking distance. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking opposite

Lucy was a lovely host very kind and thoughtful, her honesty was stunning, unique and quirky .. clean and today with everything you need. Garden was lovely and the whole living environment was peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay thank you so much.

Wood Lodge was a great place to stay. It has absolutely everything you need inside, from kitchen equipment to bathrobes! Outside is a gorgeous hot tub which Charlie checks every morning. Plenty of seating, ping pong table, a big sleeping hammock, bbq, children’s slide and swing. Location was perfect for us, close to so many things to do including with children of all ages -the lodge is right on the edge of the Tarka trail, there’s The Big Sheep and a brilliant soft play area at Infinity. Charlie has provided a folder with everything you need to know about the lodge, the area and things to do, extremely useful. Charlie was definitely a super host. We were late arriving and had ordered a food delivery, Charlie took it in and unpacked it all! One of the bedrooms was cold and he did everything he could to make it warm for us. He responded straight away whenever we had a question about anything. He was patient, friendly and kind. I would highly recommend a visit here.
