Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Placid

Robin is a wonderful host and her place was perfect for our family to stay and relax between skiing. Very close to Whiteface in a quiet part of Wilmington. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

What an amazing stay! The house was beautiful with an amazing view. The house was pristine and had plenty of room for our whole family to feel comfortable. Its location was perfect and within walking distance to all the town had to offer. We are really looking forward to booking again in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Wonderful home with all of the essentials and much more! Just moments there and we had a group of beautiful deer we could watch on the lake. It was accessible to snowshoeing trails which were magical! The beds were comfortable, the fireplace was so cozy and we could not have asked for a better experience. Great little townhouse on the lake. Finding the place was a little bit difficult with all the snow, but it wasn’t too bad. No issues

Location can’t be beat! Right in Wilmington, right on the water with beautiful views! We even had fun sledding down the backyard slope. Martha was very kind and made check in easy for our short stay.

The tree house was a great spot for our ski week away in Lake Placid. We had a ton of snow while we were there and Davids plow guy was right there to keep the driveway clean for us to get in and out of the property. The Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, coffee cups , cooking pots and pans, and plenty of utensils. David provided nice extras like plenty of towels and blankets. There was everything we needed to keep the kitchen clean and run the dishwasher. The morning view from my bedroom window was spectacular. Location was ideal.

Alan was a great host and was extremely accommodating! we will be back for sure! maybe in the summer next time!

The house sits right on Lake Flower and has a spectacular view. There are a good number of neighbors in the area that seem interested in talking with people staying there, so not a secluded location. Nice to be close to downtown. Kitchen is equipped with the basics that you need.

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas at Antoine’s home. The house was warm, inviting, and made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic time, from cross-country skiing during the day to relaxing by the cozy fireplace at night. We’d love to return in the summer to experience it again!

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! The house was very nice and clean. Everything was as described and included all the needed amenities. Hot tub and fire pit was a nice added touch! We loved waking up and looking out at the beautiful scenery. They included local recommendations and we loved checking the surrounding area out. Would definitely recommend staying with them.

Erin was easy to communicate with and even allowed us to park at the Airbnb early so we could catch the shuttle to our reunion. Beds were comfy and the place is an easy walk home from anywhere in LP

We stayed here with our 3 teenage kids for a ski weekend. What an amazing place! And Nicole is a great host too! The sauna was incredible and we had a fire burning in the fireplace the whole time. Loved it and would love to come back.

The Victorian Lady is by far the most unique, authentic and interesting house I’ve stayed in. The pictures really don’t do it justice, everything is amazingly decorated and functional, it feels like you’re stepping back in time without loosing any of the comforts you’d want/expect. The hosts were very responsive, attentive, and kind. If you’re coming to Westport STAY HERE!

Just what we were looking for. A retreat to escape to, away from people, peaceful lake for lazy canoeing, BBQing while looking out at the mountains. the place isn't sterile so feels livable while not feeling cluttered. serious game night opportunities!

A great space for group of friends or a team like ours. 12 beds were well equipped and we had an awesome stay for the USSA XC super tour finals. Team dinners altogether was a great bonding experience.

John's Mountain Cabin is pleasant, comfortable, and located in a beautiful spot. Four of us stayed for four nights. We picked up groceries in Lake Placid on the way in and created wonderful meals in the roomy and well-appointed kitchen. We visited the covered bridge in Jay and made an excursion into Lake Placid for ice cream at Emma's and some window shopping. We also took John's advice and made our way to the Cobble Lookout on a gorgeous fall day. Other daily highlights include sitting on the porch, listening to and watching birds, which were very active in the early mornings. John's cabin was very comfortable for us, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it would be ideal for families as well. The one time we needed to contact John had to do with the internet service popping out. We called to get his advice on resetting the router/modem, which he did immediately, and in just a few minutes later, we were up and running again. The whole time was a delight.

Very spacious, clean, comfortable. Bathrooms and amenities were perfect. This set my standards high for future ski cabins at this price range !

I stand by my review. The location was great, literally across the street from the arena. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Loved our stay
