If you are lucky enough to stay at her place, you will not only find comfort but also the warmth of a true home away from home.

This place is tucked away nicely in a private and quiet area of Kanazawa. Despite that, it’s still within a 20 min walk to local sight seeing spot and a number of good restaurants. The house itself was as described. It was very clean, beautiful, and had all the amenities that we needed. The house was cozy and we felt right at home. The only thing that we didn’t like that much was that the windows rattled a little bit due to strong winds, which made sleeping slightly difficult. Overall it’s still a really beautiful home. The host, Yu, was extremely polite and responsive to our questions. The check in was easy and we were allowed to go in earlier than expected after the house was ready. They had given us local recommendations and allowed us to leave our luggage behind for a few hours after check in. If you’re ever in Kanazawa and want a unique and private place to stay at, I highly recommend this place.

This place is great! Big enough to fit like 6 or so people. It was close enough to walk from the Shinkansen station. Amy was an excellent host and sent several great recommendations. The laundry was an excellent touch because I was out of clean clothes! One thing to note is I don’t think there’s a hot tub as there is in the description. Airbnb really boosts that up too since it’s the only place in the area with that amenity. There is a regular Japanese style wet room with a shower and bath tub though. Overall good stay!

Absolutely beautiful log cabin for a getaway experience away from the hustle and bustle. Stayed for 3 nights and would stay for 30 more. Cannot recommend this place enough.
