We were told about the delicious bakeries and butchers in the neighborhood. The kitchen was easy to use, and we had a relaxing stay while enjoying self-catering. In addition, we were provided with a small desk for easy computer work.Thank you for your concern.

Highlight of our first Japan trip! 💎 Junko and Philip are warm, grounded and incredibly helpful hosts. Junko picked us up at the station and even brought us to the supermarket, where Junko kindly helped us choose what to buy — such a thoughtful gesture! The home was bigger than expected, clean and full of soul — from the CD collection, board games and a great sound system Every room had AC/heating, and we had everything we needed. The area is peaceful, the perfect contrast to Tokyo and Kyoto, which can easily get overwhelming— we were so happy to come here after exploring. They provide bikes and a folder with great tips. The bike seats were a bit hard, so we padded them with towels — fun memory! 😂 They live next door with their two kids and a lovely garden. The place has real serenity and a true Japanese feel. We’d love to return! 🙏🏼

Highly recommended. Ideal for those who want to relax with family, friends, or those who want to have a barbecue. The owner was also very friendly.I enjoyed playing with my son. I want to use it again.

Such a charming traditional Japanese house with a unique touch of 80s Western style. The atmosphere made me feel as if I had once lived there—the sense of familiarity was surreal. The host’s collection throughout the home was incredible: a singing wood cabinet, beautiful plates and cups, and so many thoughtful details. It’s a bit removed from the tourist crowds near Nara Park, but if you’re seeking a peaceful, immersive experience, this is a perfect choice. I’d absolutely love to return the next time I visit Nara.
