This listing is exactly what you see and is perfect for one or two people. I loved the decor, it was very quiet, and the walk to the beach is 5 minutes on the nose (I timed it). I had a few questions and the hosts were very friendly with a fast response time. I loved the outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Great dog friendly rental in OBX! Having grass and a small fenced yard for late/early potty breaks was so convenient. Our dog relaxed right away on arrival, immediately getting a drink and dog biscuit from the provided bowls. What a rare treat to find a place so special for our four-legged family members. :-D Everything was very clean and comfortable and cozy. Loved reading in the sunroom. The house was stocked with more than we could possibly imagine needing in terms of food and supplies (so it's a bit cluttered and not a lot of space for your own items, but nothing you cannot work around). As others have said, definitely felt more like HOME than a rental and we truly appreciated that! Thanks for sharing your home and for a lovely getaway!

Beautiful, lovely, peaceful…there are not enough words to describe the beauty and relaxing nature of this house! Alex has kept this house in pristine conditions and we treated it as it was our home. Alex was very responsive and flexible given the very last minute reservation. Our family from out of town enjoyed the view and the downtown area. We will definitely be reserving again with them for the spring or summer! Thank you again Alex!

Randy is a great host. I found the house very clean when I first got there and he had everything anyone would need for a beach vacation. I would definitely be going back next year.

Our stay was perfect. House was so close to the beach, just a short walk. We were centrally located to many activities. Communication was great and the house was very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Second year in a row renting the house, which was very clean on arrival. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower, pool, hot tub, etc. Beach access is only two houses down and there is a designated walkway for you to cross. Low tide is great for surfing with 2 sand bars. The main road is busy, but doesn't bother you while enjoying the pool or decks. The house has everything you need for cooking, grilling, playing in the pool and going to the beach. There are plenty of beach chairs, beach toys for kids, a cooler, and beach buggy to carry it all to the beach, which is a small upgrade made by the owners. Staying there two years in a row we have noticed the owners care and have done small upgrades, which is appreciated b/c we have rented houses where you can tell upgrades have not been made in years. Kitty Hawk pier is within walking distance. The pictures represent what you will get in the house and are true. Mary and Andy were great with communication and we look to rent the place again.

The cottage was just the right size and loved that it was so close to the beach. It was perfect for the quick getaway that we were doing. The towels and linens were great, but could use some better pillows. Whitney was very responsive and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

what a beautiful place. the 4 cottages are perfect for a large family gathering while still allowing independence. they cottages are newly renovated and the outdoor showers are must. they have fenced area for your job to play and that is priceless in this day and age. the close proximity to EVERYTHING is amazing and makes for quick trips out. the host were extremely professional and responded quickly. I cannot wait to stay here again.

Absolutely loved this darling abnb! Great view, super clean, wonderful location. Gordon and Jan had everything anyone could want for a wonderful beach stay. They definitely go above and beyond for their guests!! We’ll be back!

Ashley was a GREAT host, very responsive and a caring host. Provided high chair requested, allowed an earlier check-in to help accomodate special needs child and was very concern when access lock was having problems and responsive. Problem was pribably our mittle hands tiuching all the numbers. Pool was extremely clean and as described in pictures and notes. Had family of 17, 8 adults and 9 kids ranging in age from newborn to 13. Bedrooms were good size to accomodate and all suites having own bathroom was wonderful for 5 families.

Great location- super close to the beach and good restaurants. Having a garage to store our bikes is key for us. The pool was very clean and we even got to join a water aerobics class with the locals - everyone was very welcoming.

The place was amazing, private, really close to the beach where you could see the horses Inside you had everything you need The only thing is they didn’t have bath wash and shampoo or conditioners Only dish detergent But besides that the place was equipped with all you need

The house is great and the host was extremely helpful and both deserve a 5 star rating. The host was very responsive and even brought over some extra chairs because we were all stuck inside the house due to the cold weather. We have stayed at over a dozen places in various areas of the outer banks and despite the weather this has been our most enjoyable experience. The great room is beautiful, and the ocean view is spectacular. The pier is closed now, but we will come back in the summer to enjoy the pier next door and the beach.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic rental in the Outer Banks that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful house, which boasts stunning views from its multi-level decks. The proximity to the beach was a major highlight! One of the standout features of this rental was the outdoor amenities. The hot tub provided the perfect spot to unwind under the stars after a long day of exploring. The fire pit was an excellent addition as well, offering a cozy atmosphere for evening gatherings and marshmallow roasting. Inside, the house was equally impressive. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that ensured a restful night's sleep. Having a washer and dryer on-site was a huge convenience, especially for a beach trip, where clothes often need a quick refresh. The combination of its prime location, excellent amenities, and Travis's hospitality makes it a perfect getaway spot. I would definitely return!

We enjoyed our vacation at this home very much. the description was accurate and the house very clean and well organized. We had to reach out to the host a few times and they were extremely responsive in a timely manner. The location of this house is awesome, grocery store and restaurants are just a short drive or walk. We enjoyed the 2nd story hot tub and the beach access was very convenient. The large recreational room on the 1st floor kept the kids entertained!! Overall, we had a fabulous week at this home and it was perfect for our large family.

We had a great stay. The fenced in back yard was wonderful with our dogs and was a peaceful place to sip our morning coffee.

Matthew and Janet were the best hosts we have ever had! From communication leading up and during the trip to everything we could have needed being available (including having all of the beach essentials so we didn't have to pack). We have an annual trip with another family and we both have a 4 year old and the location cannot be matched for families! The pool was a great addition for the littlee. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The house was conveniently located to everything. Short walk to the beach and lots of wonderful restaurants nearby. Beverly was wonderful to work with and always responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again. The perfect little cottage for a small group.
