Perfect location for a little girls’ weekend with my sister and niece. House was perfectly stocked and the outdoor space was very beautiful and peaceful. Best of all, were the visits from the sweet pup, Mika. She even came over to tell us goodbye the morning of our departure. We highly recommend this spot and would love to return!

This was a great stay for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday with my husband. It was very quiet & peaceful, and the view was beautiful. We wish we could have spent more time outside to enjoy it, but it was just a bit too chilly. We did have an opportunity to sit by the fire pit and watch the swans! We found some good restaurants not too far away and overall we were very happy with everything. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome!

Maria was very communicative and hospitable before and during our stay for anything we had questions about. The house was charming and was the perfect cozy stay during our March weekend at cape Charles! The beds are very comfy! Wish we stayed longer to enjoy more!

We had a great stay! We felt very at home, comfortable and safe! It was extremely clean when we got there and had everything we may have needed. There were plenty of local restaurants literally around the corner. We were within Walking distance to everything! We will Definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town! Our host was very friendly and responsive to any texts I sent!! Thank you!!!

This place was perfect for our family of 5, so much better than a cramped hotel room. The location was great as it was just a short walk to the beach and we appreciated all the beach gear that was provided (umbrella, wheelbarrow and plenty of chairs). Mark and Alison were very responsive to any questions I had and even provided local recommendations of activities and restaurants. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It just felt like home as soon as we walked in. We will definitely look to rent again if we ever return to VA beach.

This is a wonderful beach home within walking distance of the oceanfront. Our extended family enjoyed a fantastic visit. The house is set up perfectly for multiple families with a large gathering space on the top floor next to the kitchen. There are several decks throughout the home to catch the sea breeze and air. Beverly was a great host and responsive to our needs.

Great place to stay if you want a quiet get away. Plenty of space for stretch out and relax. Hosts were very friendly and very receptive when a question needed asking. Enjoyed time very much at the location. Plenty to see and do! Really nice quiet place on the James River. Kitchen and living room/breakfast area served our family really well. The house is close to the Jamestown ferry which allowed us easy access to the historical sights of Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown and some great restaurants in Williamsburg. A great place.

Very well setup home with a great location for all of the historic triangle activities. Walkable for a few restaurants (<1mi) and very easy to get in an out of. Only item to be aware of is the morning traffic if you are sensitive to road noise but it doesn't pickup until closer to 7AM. The home has everything you need and enough space to relax after a full day walking the historic sites. Spence is a fantastic host and extremely quick to respond to any questions. He even provided some recommended activities and family friendly options for the kids. We will be looking to return once the kids are a bit older for our Busch Gardens trip.
