It is a beautiful location. I was very happy to just sit on the lanai and enjoy the amazing scenery. It is extremely peaceful and quiet. There's access to both a beach and a large pool. They even have a small sand section of the pool that was ideal for my granddaughters ages 1 and 2.

First time visiting Kauai and it was a great experience. Really appreciative of all the proactive communications before the stay.. answered all of my questions before I had them. We were also excited by all of the beach gear that made a visit to the sand a simple and fun affair. Well done!

My brother and I spent 9 nights in Bruce's cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else WHEN we come back to Kauai. The home felt very private, even though on the farm property. I've seen other reviews mentioning ants, but they were a very minor issue, just keep the kitchen clean and you won't see them! We loved the geckos, they are so harmless and will even pose for up close pictures! You'll get used to the roosters, they are everywhere on the island, just bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. Bed's were cozy, King in the bedroom as well as the pullout couch in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillows. Showers were great, a spacious indoor shower and a great outdoor shower as well. We took advantage of Bruce's rental car. Very well kept and clean SUV. Cheaper than a rental and Bruce provided pickup & dropoff services at the airport. Lastly, we played in 2 "farmball" games on the Fridays. So fun! All the players were so friendly and welcoming. Mahalo Bruce

Aloha! Staying at Ellen’s Beach Place in Kapa‘a was like stepping into our own private slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warm spirit of aloha, and the magic of Kaua‘i embraced us completely. 🌴✨ The location? ‘Ano‘ai ke aloha! (Absolutely amazing!) Just steps from the sparkling ocean, we woke up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoyed the most stunning sunrises right from the lanai. The hale (house) was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and filled with everything we needed to feel at home. Ellen even left some local goodies to welcome us – such a thoughtful touch! 🌺🍍 Mahalo nui loa, Ellen, for sharing your incredible hale and your warm aloha with us! We will absolutely be back to your beautiful beach haven. If you’re considering booking this spot, don’t hesitate – it’s truly a kauhale (home) that captures the heart of Kaua‘i.

This was a perfect place for us. The inside and outside blend together in a beautiful way. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The location near the beach is incredible. Interesting little shelf of books if you hit a rainy day. We really did not want to leave and hope to come back someday. Thanks for sharing the dream Micco!

We loved the bamboo cottage. It was just right for our first visit to Kauai. It was centrally located for most of what we wanted to do. It was very private and we felt at home right away.

Cozy cottage in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to a nice beach that was great for walking and sunset viewing. Great location for exploring Waimea Canyon and South / West shore. Cottage had ample space for family of 4 - lanais on 3 sides with glass doors for light and fresh air. Host was welcoming, responsive and provided great local recommendations for activities and dining.

Like many airbnbs, the place is a little smaller than it looks, but the bedroom is very large. It is renovated nicely. The deck is great and we had breakfast there every morning. You are paying a little more for the location, which is fantastic at nawilliwili… central located on the island and near the beach.

IPO Cottage is a sweet little cottage nestled in the jungle. We loved the outdoor shower and the back deck. We also appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, and snorkel gear provided. The kitchenette had everything we needed for light meals. And the neighbors were super helpful with suggestions about the area.

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage. This place exceeded our expectations as the property is located footsteps with plenty of privacy. The location is minutes away from the local shops and a national state park. The amenities are top notch. The views from the windows are spectacular. This rating deserves a 10 plus rating…we will be back! Thank you Kristina and Steven for being wonderful hosts!

This is a true ocean front view. Waves are literally hitting below the balcony and you have one on each floor! Parking right outside your front door! Ahlea communicates every stage of pre-check-in, to check-in and check-out. Lovely place. Very cozy. Kitchen has everything you need. Washer/dryer look new. What is there not to love? TY Ahlea for the opportunity to enjoy ourselves!

What a wonderful place to be! This was the perfect home base for our family, and the view from the lanai was gorgeous—exactly as pictured. We loved the pace of the north side of the island. Being out near the end of the road in a more rural setting was exactly the right place for us, between the hiking, scenic beaches, and quaintness of the Hanalei township. I was worried it would be tight for the five of us, but it was totally fine and worked out well—we didn’t feel like we were encroaching on each other at all. There were plenty of towels and equipment available for day trips, and we had a lovely time.

As advertised. Charming cottage in the perfect location in Poipu. Small but clean and airy. All sorts of supplies, spices, kitchen and beach gadgets. Furnishings not expensive but Linens, sheets and bedding were very nice. The landscaping and flowers were over the top. Owner communicates well and there were no problems

We loved it. Private place and perfect for a getaway. We will want to come back for sure. The host was great, truly professional and kind. If you don’t mind driving to get food or do things it’s perfect. It’s about a one mile walk to get food which we did a few times. We loved it.
