Such a wonderful, peaceful escape from the busyness of the cities here in Uganda. I felt so at home in this wonderful cottage on the Nile. The bird song, the flowers and foliage, the private location, where you can just sit and enjoy a coffee out on the deck in the morning, while watching the monkeys play overhead in the trees. Truly a slice of paradise. Trish and Leslie were so responsive and accommodating. I look forward to staying again!

We loved our stay at Ceyda’s! Mornings were spent enjoying local food—Rolexes, fresh fruit—and great coffee. We explored the area on foot and went for scenic runs, which were a highlight. There are loads of activities on offer; we did the white-water rafting which is an absolute must! We often ate at the nearby local restaurant which served good food and had a great bar atmosphere. But our favourite part of the trip was relaxing with sundowners on our porch, soaking in the stunning view of the Nile. Ceyda was proactive and communicated really well with us throughout. All the hotel staff were fantastic—friendly and helpful. The only downside was the sound of rain and monkeys on the roof at night. Since it rained every evening, we were often woken up by the monkeys early in the morning. But aside from that, everything was wonderful. We’d definitely recommend a stay here!

Angelo and Barbara were exceptional hosts for our cabin stay! The cabin was immaculately clean and exactly as described in the listing. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a perfect getaway. The natural setting offered just the tranquility we were seeking. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene retreat with attentive hosts who ensure everything meets your expectations.

This place was lovely, just as it was in the pictures, quiet, peaceful, clean and it felt like we were home. Alice was really friendly, and made sure we were doing alright and had everything we wanted and needed.. We shall definitely be going back. The view of the Nile was a gem. The caretaker was very responsive and the dogs were very friendly too
