Vacation rentals in Kaizu

Thank you for a great stay. The house was a really good size with all amenities. It was in a lovely quiet street but easy access to a supermarket and not too far to walk into the centre.

This is a comfortable and airy apartment in a peaceful residential neighborhood of Nagoya. The space is clean and uncluttered, and so feels very relaxing. Transportation links for downtown areas are nearby, as well as shopping options and numerous local restaurants: including Japanese, Chinese, Indian Nepali, and Turkish food. Highly recommended. I hope I can return.

I stayed with my family of four. After booking, I feel safe from the prior communication stage, and the check-in is completed smoothly without difficulty seeing the manual on the day of your stay. As soon as I entered the room, it was so nice that my family would like to live here. This time, it was not for sightseeing, so I only used it for one night, but I might have used it more if I could stay for a few days. The only thing we ask is that you include the amenities. Maybe I just couldn't find it, but I think I could have saved my luggage a little if I could check from the email the day before that there were towels, bath towels, and toothbrushes. Regardless, it was difficult to find accommodation for a family of four in one room, but I was very satisfied with staying with my family at an affordable price. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Junko and Philip were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. It was a great place to adjust to the time difference after such a long journey and the beds are some of the coziest I’ve ever seen! There are beautiful walks very close by, Philip suggested biking routes and walks which was very helpful and Junko was so lovely and helpful messaging us the easiest way to get there from Tokyo! Nara is a 10 minute train ride away so we did a couple of day trips there. The supermarket is in walking distance and has a huge variety of vegetables and food. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and lovely! :)

Great house in a good location. Wish I could have spent more time here.

This is a lovely traditional home in a small, quiet town, attractive to stroll around and admire. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked for a night or two with friends and/or family. It suited our group of five adults and two 12-year-olds extremely well. The fact that it has so many bedrooms is a significant advantage for groups that don't all want to share the same sleeping space, as is often the case at Japanese Airbnbs. The friendly hosts were waiting for us at check-in and gave us an extremely detailed tour and explanation of the property. There are not many services within walking distance, so we were glad we rented a car. We cooked dinner and breakfast, and found many useful condiments and spices in the kitchen. Really, the only disadvantage of this home is that it is rather expensive, but the experience of staying there is unique, making it worth the cost. Airbnb prices in general seem to be rising, so it is not dissimilar to others like it.

The room was spotless and it matched everything that was listed on the app. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and I had no problems feeling rested and welcome. There's quite a walk to the nearest stations though, but still very accessible. Ito-san is also very responsive, and has made my stay very comfortable and convenient. Thank you very much, Ito-san and team!

Hosts Chie and Iain were wonderful suggesting ways to get around locally as well as gardening tips. Meeting with the chickens each morning then walking along Lake Biwa was a great way to begin the day. The quiet and serene lake setting provided welcome respite from Kyoto, Nara and Osaka hubbub. The house was roomy, comfy and outfitted with latest in high tech appliances. A short walk, then about a 50 minute ride from Hira Station gets you to Kyoto Station, where you can go most anywhere in this part of Japan. We thoroughly enjoyed stay and highly recommend it.

This is my first time in Japan and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to for my first stay!! It was a beautiful house, in a beautiful area with beautiful views and even more beautiful people!!! I’ll be back soon Japan and I will be back in Omi-Maiko again!!!!
