Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kailua-Kona

We will rent this home again if we are back to the Big Island! We really enjoyed the different spaces. The interior was open concept and a great gathering space. The lanai porch was peaceful and very pleasant mornings and evenings. The outdoor shower and hot tub was a great space for small groups to gather.

We had an amazing time at Nurul’s place! It was one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at, everything was pristine with top of the line furnishings and appliances. They thought of everything from local recommendations to beach gear. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful location, description and pictures are accurate. This Airbnb has the most equipped kitchen I have ever stayed at, it's got everything! Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear available for use as well. Clean well maintained home. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Highly recommend this place! We only stayed a couple nights due to it nearly being fully booked. I can see why as the furnishings are top notch. The dining room table is beautiful! The beds are very comfortable. Very clean. They even had soft Kleenex and toilet paper along with nice towels in bathroom. You just don’t find that everywhere. The comforter in the closet made the bed extra cozy. Debi, the caretaker, was so sweet and informative and helped make my son’s 30th birthday something to remember! We enjoyed talking to her but she will also give you your space, if needed. Jenne is great at responding quickly. She even let us drop off my husband’s golf clubs early so we would be more comfortable in the car. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our third time back and Laura’s place is beginning to feel like our home away from home! It is cooler than downtown making it feel perfect outside and in. The view is lovely as well. There was plenty of room for my 4 adult sons to spread out and stay content. I would definitely come back!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at Barry’s Airbnb! Barry was super kind and friendly, and very supportive. The house was exactly as described, beautiful! No regrets, we’d 100% do it again.

Great vacation home, comfortable, reasonable distance to beaches. Availability of beach toys and snorkeling gear was appreciated. Host provided a car seat. Would recommend

What a great stay! We had no issues with the place at all! The home is beautiful and was pristine when we arrived. It is extremely spacious. Even for 2 adults and 3 kids, it didn’t feel cramped and even if we had another it would have still felt spacious. The lanai is such a nice place to spend time, feeling the cool ocean breeze. We kept the windows and screen doors pretty much open the whole time! The neighborhood was quiet aside from regular traffic noise, which you can’t help being in the city. The neighborhood felt more like a business/office district as there aren’t any real neighbors around which was a nice reprieve from hordes of tourists. There’s a cute coffee/tea shop just down the street where we enjoyed breakfast, and a restaurant within walking distance. It’s walking distance to downtown Kailua-Kona but sidewalks were lacking in some areas which made me glad we had rented a car. We had little ones though and adults/older kids could probably easily get by without a car.

Hale’s Hale was a great place to stay for a quick overnight before heading off for adventures down south. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet—and close to Pu'uhonua O Honaunau and Captain Cook. Highly recommend.

Lynn's Airbnb is a private, quiet space in a semi-rural family neighborhood. It's beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and has a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, towels, gadgets, and everything you'll need to feel comfortable. Lynn provided lovely beach chairs, a fabulous beach umbrella, a cooler, and cheerful beach towels for us to use. I really enjoyed this space, along with the beautiful patio. Views from Lynn's property are unbeatable! The neighborhood is quiet, lush, and green. It's a welcome space away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona, but amazingly close if you want to go anywhere downtown. I also appreciated the fast, reliable WIFI. Lynn is also a very professional host who is proactive, responsive, welcoming, and very gracious. I highly recommend Lynn and this Airbnb, and would stay here again if I have the opportunity. Thanks Megan And Vicent for a great stay and high recommend! We'd definately return. The photos accurately represent the top-floor space, which was quiet and private—we rarely heard our hosts downstairs. They were friendly, checked in a couple of times during our weeklong stay, and provided excellent communication throughout. The space was very comfortable, with a large common area, spacious bedrooms, and a well-appointed kitchen that had everything we needed. The lanai was a nice bonus. The location was convenient for our exploring the island.

We stayed at 4 Airbnbs during our 11 day stay in Hawaii and Maile and Vlad’s was by far our favorite! The location was perfect and lots of really good restaurants around!! They had kids the same ages as my kiddos so playing with them was a hit also :) We would love to be back in the future

Apartment was clean and bed was comfortable. It is a small place and might need some updating. Pool has great ocean/sunset views. Parking was directly outside door. Patio was great.

Lovely place, loved chatting with Nate. I had a fall soon after landing and would have had a ruined trip without his help. Lovely fruit trees, very tasty. Thank you for the papaya. Location is very convenient, i avoided traffic going to the boat harbor in the morning.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Amazing Airbnb! First, the location is close to everything , whether you need to go to a store , grab food , or things to do. Anywhere is at least 5 minutes away so the location was perfect for our stay to tour Kona. As far as the place itself, it was just also amazing. Very clean, had all the things one would need for going to the beach and just a beautiful space. Parking was extremely easy. The host made binders of activities and their experiences which I thought was on point. Another thing is the host is very responsive. Read our messages in a minute or less and even let us return for our forgotten hair towel. For anyone looking to travel to Kona, look no further for a Airbnb to stay at. Thankyou Inna!

Terry has done it again! This was our second year staying at Terry’s well equipped and beautiful condo. Again we enjoyed daily whale watching right on the beach as well as sea turtles feeding on the shoreline. You will be in need of nothing at Terry’s hideaway as he has truly thought of every guests’ needs. In fact Terry reached out to us prior to our arrival offering to pick up anything we needed as we had a late flight. Our flight going home didn’t leave until late at night and Terry allowed us to check out late as well! Mahalo again Terry. Stay blessed 🌺😌

Holly's place is up to date and lovely. The view from the lanai was stunning and peaceful. The sound of the waves and a comfortable made for restful nights. The location was great for the west side of the island. It was easy to get to restaurants and various beaches. Kahalu'u beach was nearby and the snorkeling was great there. We had our own masks and snorkels, but appreciated the selection of fin sizes. Neither of us needed to rent fins. We saw whales every day from the lanai and dolphins on several occasions. The kitchen was well equipped and the farm market next door was a great source of papayas and pineapples. We used the blender and fruit to make excellent frozen daiquiris. Holly was very responsive to questions and also one minor issue we had with a lamp not working. We would definitely stay here again.

Brenda's condo was exactly as advertised. It was clean, quiet, had all the cooking appliances, utensils etc needed, free parking, a lovely deck and a closet full of beach stuff (chairs, flippers, snorkels, umbrellas etc). They have lots of linens, towels and beach towels as well. The night time lights in the pool area were very pretty to watch, and the sound of the ocean was wonderful. It was in walking distance to a few small stores, beaches etc, but not really to the main section with restaurants, costco, souvenirs etc. This was not a problem since we had a car. I would suggest renting a car if you want to see the sights of the Big Island. Brenda allowed us a late checkout and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

We had a great stay here. Absolutely beautiful view from the unit over the ocean with gorgeous sunsets. Easy, short drive to Kona for restaurants and other shopping needs. Well equipped kitchen and easy parking. Only minor issue was there were no shades to block the late afternoon sun in the unit. We'd happily stay here again.

Can't say enough good things about the experience. The view is spectacular. We LOVED watching the skilled surfers from our lanai everyday. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf was heaven. The decorating in the unit is just lovely. Christie responded to questions within an hour. We hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you, Christie.

This paradise is an excellent spot for your Kailua-Kona-based vacation! It is right on Alii Drive, close to the ocean and town. Sherry had beach chairs and a surf board, anything you could want for the beach. The king bed is super nice, and having the windows unit AC helped when it got warm with no breeze in the evening. we also used the pullout couch/bed, and it was surprisingly comfortable! I would rent from Sherry again, and I would rent this location. Perfect jumping off spot for our Big Island adventure.

We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rent again from Marco. The condo was well equipped for cooking and relaxing. There were only two of us so we couldn't comment on the sleeper sofa. The washer and dryer were convenient and worked well. Marco always responded quickly to our questions and concerns. The views out to the pool and shore were excellent.
