This place was truly wonderful! Exactly as described in listing, beautiful and peaceful. It's far enough off the 29 that it truly feels like another planet, sunset/sunrise were stunning. Hosts were very kind and communicative. I was evacuating the fires in LA and they were flexible and upfront about the power shut offs in the valley. Good people!

The perfect home to go to when you’re trying getaway from the busy city life. My wife, our friends n family had an amazing time there star gazing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The home was very clean and was big enough to accommodate the 10 of us. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back sometime this summer!!!

Comfortable place and great amenities. The kitchen is particularly great. Quiet, relaxing neighborhood and not far to Joshua Tree. the hot tub was great. We would stay here again.

It was such a phenomenal place to relax and enjoy Joshua Tree. Perfect location, you can even hike from the Airbnb and it’s close enough to town where you can even quickly grab a coffee if you wanted to. The hot ton and pool are perfect for stargazing at night. We had an absolutely wonderful time.

We had an incredible stay at this adorable house in Joshua Tree! The decor was super cute and added to the cozy, inviting vibe of the place. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The outdoor area was amazing—complete with a firepit, barbecue, and a cowboy pool (though we didn’t use it because it was a cold). It was the perfect spot to enjoy the stars at night, and the clear desert sky did not disappoint. The location is also great, with easy access to local restaurants and the National Park entrance just a short drive away. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Our family had a wonderful time here, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway in Joshua Tree!

Audrey was an amazing host! Her Joshua Tree home was easy to find, and she provided clear, detailed instructions. The Desert Star has a great vibe, and its location is very close to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Stayed late Jan. 2025. A perfectly located duplex home in Joshua Tree. I felt safe walking to the main streets of town at night which were a 15 minute or less walk, & 15 minutes drive to a Joshua tree park. Essential needs like heating for winter, clean accomodations includ. nice towels & sheets, cooking supplies like pots/pans for stove/oven were provided along with some yummy snack foods. There's a rooster close by that crows but there were ear plugs that did the trick. Note, this is a duplex, so you have a direct bedroom wall shared with a next door neighbor if someone is renting that unit out. My neighbors were incredibly quiet and we saw each other once over 4 days, but results may vary (if you're looking for real solitude). A small caveat is that the showerhead in the bathroom is very low flow w/ the prickly/spiky kind of water setting. The stream hurts and it's low flow w/ large pockets of no water at all, so if you have long or thick hair, you'll be in there much longer.

Highly recommend as this place was clean, organized, easy to find and a great location near Joshua tree and nearby restaurants and grocery store

We stayed for one night Michael’s place was perfect… If out in the Joshua tree/Twentynine palms area for the weekend or just for a night I recommend to look for his place and book

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

Such a wonderful stay in such a beautiful place! Tonelise was very responsive and helpful, gave excellent restaurant recs, and overall we felt welcomed and at home. Would without a doubt recommend this rental to anyone! We hope to return soon :)

Tracy and Colleen's place is comfortable and functional. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable + the place had everything you need for short and long term stays. The outdoor space is also delightful. We loved watching the sunset everyday from the front porch with the birds and the occasional bunny or desert squirrel. The location is great. We loved how close it is to the National park. We stayed for almost 3 months and enjoyed our stay. Tracy and Colleen were responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a couple concerns upon check-in and they were prompt in answering and handling our concern. We both work from home and they were kind to leave a desk for us which was super helpful. Thank you again.
