Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Joshua Tree

Absolutely beautiful! We have truly found a home away from home when coming to Joshua Tree. Love the house, property, hosts communication was easy and proactive. Will most certainly be returning!

we loved our stay up on the hill above yucca valley. the sunsets blow your mind, the night sky - epic, good birding! the house is exactly like it looks in the photos - artfully curated stuff everywhere - amazing vinyl collection, and a kitchen has nice quality knives pans that makes you feel like someone actually lives in it. great communication with the hosts - everything about our stay was excellent. hope to be back in the future.

This place was truly wonderful! Exactly as described in listing, beautiful and peaceful. It's far enough off the 29 that it truly feels like another planet, sunset/sunrise were stunning. Hosts were very kind and communicative. I was evacuating the fires in LA and they were flexible and upfront about the power shut offs in the valley. Good people!

The perfect home to go to when you’re trying getaway from the busy city life. My wife, our friends n family had an amazing time there star gazing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The home was very clean and was big enough to accommodate the 10 of us. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back sometime this summer!!!

My sister and I had a lovely stay at the Deco House in Yucca Valley! The home was so cozy and very very cute. We cooked on the charcoal grill, watched TV on the patio, and star gazed in the hot tub. There are way more amenities provided than a normal Airbnb (coffee, creamer, food, spices, oil, Qtips, flossers, cotton balls, etc.) We felt very comfortable and welcomed in this home. The views from the house are beautiful as well. We loved the tree cut out from the patio roof :) on day 2 we already started talking about our next stay at the house! Molly was perfectly responsive to our questions during our stay. The surrounding area is great, we loved the vintage shopping, galleries, and of course the park. If you're thinking of staying at the Deco House, this is your sign to book it 😊

Perfect location for our Joshua Tree adventures. Close enough that you could explore for a while, take a break, and then go back to the park. Lots of places to relax around the home. Quiet neighborhood so spending time outside was not distracting. Desiree was a responsive and friendly hostess. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Audrey was adorable and accommodating. Great vibes! The place is definitely rustic, that's worth noting. We had a great time watching the stars by the fire. Very close to all the oddities that make it Joshua Tree!

Stayed late Jan. 2025. A perfectly located duplex home in Joshua Tree. I felt safe walking to the main streets of town at night which were a 15 minute or less walk, & 15 minutes drive to a Joshua tree park. Essential needs like heating for winter, clean accomodations includ. nice towels & sheets, cooking supplies like pots/pans for stove/oven were provided along with some yummy snack foods. There's a rooster close by that crows but there were ear plugs that did the trick. Note, this is a duplex, so you have a direct bedroom wall shared with a next door neighbor if someone is renting that unit out. My neighbors were incredibly quiet and we saw each other once over 4 days, but results may vary (if you're looking for real solitude). A small caveat is that the showerhead in the bathroom is very low flow w/ the prickly/spiky kind of water setting. The stream hurts and it's low flow w/ large pockets of no water at all, so if you have long or thick hair, you'll be in there much longer.

Great location to the national park! We were able to get into the park early and before the crowds. Walkable to several restaurants and shops. Several floor rugs were a tripping hazard- I would recommend getting new ones or just removing. Beds and furniture were comfortable.

A very adequate rental. There have been some Airbnbs I've gotten before and I was instantly wow-ed and impressed. This was not necessarily that. It's rather plain. But, it was clean, it was easy to find, it is great proximity to JTNP, and walkable to several great restaurants in town. It's been newly remolded you can tell, but you can also tell it was done on a budget. Overall, if you're looking for a well priced place to sleep near JTNP, this is a great place. This seems like a newer property for this renter, and I bet it will continue to improve to be a little less spartan.

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

Tracy and Colleen's place is comfortable and functional. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable + the place had everything you need for short and long term stays. The outdoor space is also delightful. We loved watching the sunset everyday from the front porch with the birds and the occasional bunny or desert squirrel. The location is great. We loved how close it is to the National park. We stayed for almost 3 months and enjoyed our stay. Tracy and Colleen were responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a couple concerns upon check-in and they were prompt in answering and handling our concern. We both work from home and they were kind to leave a desk for us which was super helpful. Thank you again.
