House vacation rentals in Joshua Tree

Black C-House has been top 3 of my favorite stays! The house was perfectly secluded but also only a 15 minute drive to any local grocery store, Walmart, coffee shop, etc.. The house was decorated extremely well and has all the amenities we needed during our stay! Any questions had were almost immediately answered by the host & their team! Can’t wait to come back and stay at this zen mini mansion!

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful desert getaway and Joey's place delivered! The location is remote enough to feel like you're away from everything, but there are plenty of amenities within a reasonable and very scenic drive! The backyard, pool, and hot tub are perfect for hanging out all day/evening, and the house is cozy and clean. The sky is the main attraction, whether it's stargazing, sunrise, or sunset. The neighborhood is quiet and I got a run and a short hike in on some nearby OHV trails. My kids (8 and 10) had a great time and we all left feelings refreshed and relaxed. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Joey is very deserving of all the praise he receives in his reviews!

The location is beautiful and remote. The backyard amenities were amazing for my family.

Stayed here for a long Valentine's weekend and loved it! We had some issues getting checked in, but Vince was a great host and did everything he could to make it right. The place itself is great - the backyard and hot tub are fun for hanging out in the day, and the warmly lit living room is so cozy at night. Perfect for a couple, but big enough that we both wanted to come back with a group in the summer to try out the pool. Would gladly come back again any time !

Lovely spot! We had a great weekend. Amazing, massive fenced in yard and a well stocked kitchen. Would recommend!

fantastic place. serene private. great place to forget civilization. place itself is spacious plenty of kitchen appliances silverwear. comfy beds and couches. great spa and pool with large outdoor lounge chairs and about 50 towels for you to use overal highly recommend

Beautiful view at a remote location. Very cozy at night. Definitely recommend bringing an awd vehicle so your vehicle won’t get stuck like mine did. Also don’t leave out food & lock gates, coyotes seen around the property. Other than that 5 stars.

What a great place to have a girls retreat. The price is better than other AirBNB's, the place was absolutely perfect. We relaxed, played games, cooked and soaked in the hot tub. Could not have asked for a better experience. Felt safe and had everything we needed. Sarah was a great host!

Very clean and tidy. If you are used to Westin/Marriot property this place is on par with up. All amenities were available during our stay.

The location , home design is perfect . What we were looking for piece, quite and view..

Leanne was super communicative and her place was extremely accommodating. Every expectation was exceeded! One of the very few times the real deal was even better than the pictures and description. Everything worked, was clean, and in abundance - sheets, towels, blankets, dishes, kitchenwares, toiletries, etc. The place was huge…we had a large-ish group and it never felt like we were on top of each other. The grill, pool, and hot tub were clean and well maintained. There was also a pass for the park included in the guest book. As close to a perfect experience as you can get on Airbnb!

Great little home in Joshua Tree. Easy drive to the park, but far enough away for peaceful nights and mornings and an impeccable sunrise. The little “spa” area with the hot tub was an added bonus!

If you are looking for a nice getaway which is a 20-25 min drive to downtown Palm Springs the. This is the spot. The place was better than the pics. Grab some groceries and enjoy the views, birds, and nature. A little off roading wasn’t a big deal and we’ll definitely book again in the future.

We loved staying at Liz's place. It was very clean, beautifully furnished, convenient to the park, and has its own private Joshua Trees. The kitchen and dining area are great for cooking meals, and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Liz's recommendations re the area were also very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was GORGEOUS - the classic J Tree retreat we all hope for.... gorgeous backyard area and natural desert garden, stargazing deck and hottub were all FANTASTIC. The home was beautifully decorated and felt so cozy and inviting on arrival. Lots of comfortable beds, great bathrooms, open and easy to use kitchen. The hosts were thoughtful and caring and it's a prime choice, especially for a small group gathering.

This listing was exceptional. The Location: Beautiful and peaceful with no light pollution, a perfect place to stargaze. Only a 20 minute drive to local eateries and groceries. The Property: Fenced in all around, perfect for pets and privacy. So many distinct outside sitting options! hammocks, gas fire table, wood burning fire pit, stargazing beds, and the hot tub was thoughtfully placed where we enjoyed shade and a lovely patio. The above ground pool looked pristine and inviting but it was February and too cold for us to jump in. The House: Spacious and bright with beautiful decor and plenty of comforts from home. Super clean kitchen with all of the items you can think of to prepare a meal. The beds were extremely comfortable - all of them! Hosts: very responsive and kindly provided lots of local recommendations and welcome wine! Overall our group of 5 adults and 1 dog were extremely satisfied with the level of care and detail provided. Highly Recommended Stay!

We had a great experience at Sprocket Ranch and the host was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Joshua Tree.

Whimsically wonderful property to tap into your souls inner child and just rejoice in life! You will feel joyous and childlike walking around the property exploring all the incredible art gardens. The are no words for the beauty and expansiveness of the mountain views other than ”Heaven on Earth.” I swear you can see for miles and miles. The night sky will capture you and take you on a journey throughout the stars like no other.🤩 The kitchen is basically chef ready and everything is easy to find and use. Beds are comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and bedding. Bathrooms are clean and sanitary. Laundry facilities inside home with detergents available and FREE to use - no coin deposit! Easiest and best WiFi connection I’ve ever had in the middle of the desert. Property is so incredibly private, yet easy to find and access. I highly recommend this property!

Really grateful to have been able to escape here to this slice of heaven. Jacks House is private, fully fenced in; I felt incredibly safe here and the decorations and amenities are even better in person. The house was clean, well stocked, full spice drawer, every kitchen utensil I needed and sharp kitchen knives! (which never happens in an Airbnb) The big outdoor sofas were the perfect place to hang out in the evening and have morning coffee after a walk around the property. Detoxed from LA in the beautiful wood sauna and then dipped into the hot tub. Beds were super comfortable, soft sheets, nice toiletries - can't recommend enough! Can't wait to come back.

This stay was an absolute delight! The property offers great privacy, and the courtyard design is stunning. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-thought-out the entire space is. The backyard is spacious, featuring a heated pool, a hot spa, and a cozy firepit area where we could warm up while stargazing and chatting with friends. It was my first time building a wood fire, and the experience was truly memorable. Inside, the house is spotless, modern, and filled with natural light, creating a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the kitchen—so much so that I wish my own home had one just like it! Overall, this was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

If you’re seeking an authentic J-tree experience, the Rockbound Oasis is as real as it gets! This is not a staged, cheaply-constructed corporate property managed by a hospitality group; this is a real J-tree home that is special and loved by its owners. The home has an interesting history that dates back to the middle part of last century. Its architecture/design was certainly way ahead of its time. The home was built to harmonize perfectly with the rock formations that characterize this particular area of J-tree and make it so ethereal. The interior space has a charm, warmth, comfort and soul that cannot be achieved in the sterile, white, corporate boxes that seem to have cropped up like dandelions within the last decade or so. The grounds were not designed to emulate the surrounding area, they are an integral part of the surrounding area. This is great place to reflect and experience the desert energy and power. Veronica is a one-of-a-kind host whose hospitality is unparalleled.

Beautiful and serene place in the desert! We stayed for a long weekend and both Stephen and Clarisse were helpful and responsive. All instructions and directions were very clear and easy to follow. The place itself was beautiful and tranquil and smelled amazing! We loved the open plan and high ceilings of the living room and kitchen and spent most of our time there. Kitchen is well stocked and all amenities were available as listed. Bed was super comfortable and the sheets felt luxurious. We also appreciated the large tv in the bedroom. The place was tastefully decorated, minimal and not cluttered and the home always felt warm in the desert winter and through the night. It was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway!

We really enjoyed the landscaping, fire pit, outdoor swings. The place was serene, peaceful and had a desert chic style which we enjoyed.
