The house feels remote, but restaurants and supermarkets are a 5-minute drive away. It is very well equipped and has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for an autumn/winter vacation - no matter what the weather. There are good hiking and climbing opportunities in the area. Lucia is a great hostess. We will be happy to come back!

We were there to celebrate a birthday with my family and returned with lovely memories. It felt like home from the first moment and the coziness will catch you. Caro was a very nice host, always attentive and well prepared.

I loved the place and exactly what was promised was fulfilled. I needed a break from the noisy everyday life and had therefore explicitly searched for quiet accommodations and landed an absolute hit with this house. Everything was quiet and clean and I had a fantastic time!

The hostess was super nice and often sought personal contact, which we really liked. She was practically always available to us for questions or similar. The house is exceptionally well equipped for a vacation home with everything the family needs. The location is very quiet and therefore we were able to relax well. Definitely recommended!

We had a very relaxing time at Svenja & Alex's place. The house is very cozy, the garden and balcony wonderful for sunbathing and the magnificent nature around it invites you to long hikes. Our two small dogs were also very enthusiastic. Communication was impeccable - Alex and Svenja were quick to help us if we had any questions. We highly recommend the house and would be happy to come back. Thank you for everything!

Sabine made our Christmas in Germany unforgettable. From the start, she welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She thoughtfully assigned rooms for our large group and arranged the furniture to ensure everyone felt comfortable and at home. Even though we arrived early, Sabine greeted us with her son, giving us a warm, heartfelt welcome. She provided a detailed tour of the house, patiently explaining everything and answering our questions. To make our holiday special, Sabine decorated every room with glowing Christmas decorations and left thoughtful treats—candy, beer, and wine. Her generosity brought tears to my eyes, and we began our trip with laughter, hugs, and a deep sense of care. Meeting Sabine and her son was the highlight of our trip. We’re so grateful for her thoughtfulness, warmth, and the love she put into making our holiday so memorable.

A very nice and large accommodation in a perfect location right on the Czech border. The apartment is in an older half-timbered house with a lot of character. The tiled stove is a highlight and kept us nice and warm. Kitchen, bathroom and room are optimally equipped. The hosts were very nice and reserved a table in the restaurant directly across the street for us on the first evening. The place is highly recommended, we would love to come back.

Svenja is an open and likeable woman. I was allowed to use the garden. The home has an individual and artistic touch. I felt very comfortable.

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

We loved the apartment, the quiet location and above all the beautiful unobstructed view of the landscape. A highlight was also the hot tub, where we could enjoy the starry sky in the evening. The landlords were incredibly friendly and helpful. We definitely want to come back.

We were guests at Thorben and Christina's time as guests of Thorben and Christina and it was once again very relaxed and beautiful in Machtlos. The place is cozy and nothing is missing. Our dogs also arrived quickly and we were able to enjoy the vacation very much. We'd love to come back! :-)

We spent the weekend at Kerstin's place and can only rave. Already upon arrival, we were warmly and warmly welcomed. The place is decorated with a lot of love for detail and immaculately clean – just like the adjacent swimming pool. Especially for families, this place is ideal: our children had a lot of fun, and you can feel that a welcoming atmosphere was deliberately created here for all ages. There are great opportunities for grilling and for a cozy campfire, and the peaceful surroundings invite you to take relaxing forest walks. Anytime again! Tobias and his wife were extremely accommodating and friendly. We were even invited to barbecue and were allowed to spend an evening with family and friends. Super easy, relaxed communication. Absolutely recommended. And the cabin is of course also very nice. There's everything you need.

We were in Rengersfeld for a week in early April, we felt very comfortable with Iris and Konni. The advertisement describes the apartment exactly in word and image. And then there are a few more on site: fresh fruit on the table, a selection of sharp kitchen knives in the kitchen (really rare!), oversized duvets, a hot water bottle, a few board games are ready. In the hallway between the two apartments there are drinks and a few small things that you can get at fair prices. Also a few household things like toaster and blender that are available for both apartments. With Iris and Konni it was extremely nice, relaxed and pleasant. Communication was completely straightforward, we had a good conversation and got a few more tips. Not to forget: the village parlor. Slow Food in Bestform. Very clear recommendation! The Rhön is great for hiking. A car out there is very helpful, even if you can get there with public transport.

The house was a little smaller than I expected from the photos, which was absolutely no problem. We were received in a very friendly and informal manner and got an introduction. The illumination is as described and in very good condition. If you travel at colder times, you have to arrange that the fireplace takes about 1 1/2 hours to get the house warm, but for the meantime, there are additional cuddly blankets. As a toilet, there is the plum toilet in the garden (very clean) or the bathroom in the house, which was very easy for us to use. Susanne was also able to recommend us a nice hike and was always friendly, direct and uncomplicated in general. Definitely recommended for a relaxing getaway in the countryside.

It was exactly what we imagined:away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, by the forest.. located in nature. The building has historical charm and is lovingly decorated with a tasteful mix of old and new furniture and everything you need for your stay. The apartment was clean and cozy. The area is fantastic for hiking and unwinding. If you like, you can sit in front of the fireplace on cooler days. Oliver was very nice, communicative and eager to give us a nice getaway. Thank you!

We enjoyed the stay with Andreas very much. Good , quiet location between downtown and Cospudener See ( both easily accessible by bike, but also a bus to the city center and the train station right outside the front door ), bright apartment with views, parking on the street front door, good shopping in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is as described and super clean. We slept very well. Andreas is very friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was very flexible, although we booked very last minute. Thank you again, dear Andreas! We highly recommend the accommodation and will certainly book it again on a next visit to Leipzig.
