Lovely little cabin. Quite isolated so very peaceful but only a short drive to restaurants and shops. It felt very authentic Iceland to see the horses from the house! A good base to explore from.

It was a very cozy stay and spent two warm days on the farm and it was the perfect sanctuary for us to encounter a snowstorm.Waiting for the aurora in the early hours of the morning and the puppy at the owner's house is very cute

Excellent farm stay with fantastic scenery and kids love to play with dog & cats. Kids were so excited when it snow, and they had so much fun playing with snow!

Wonderful farmhouse with plenty of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and great views. We loved the horse and sheep! Easy to find with instructions. Bathrooms are a little small but manageable. Very gracious host with clear communications. I would recommend this welcoming home.

A perfect stay! Nice and warm despite the weather! Very clean and tidy, very comfortable. Surrounded by nature and managed to see the Northern lights! Everything was exactly as we expected from the booking and Sigrún was very helpful. Will definitely be rebooking on our next trip to Iceland!

The AirBnB was perfect for us! The host is super kind and made sure we arrived safely after a long drive in the dark due to road closures after a storm. We found the house right away even in the dark. It had everything we needed and felt at home right away! We definitely recommend this AirBnB!!! ❤️

We absolutely loved Rannveig's place! The location was so beautiful and had all of the amenities we needed and more! Rannveig was so kind and helpful- will absolutely return on our next trip!

This is a treasure of an airbnb. The pictures are great but it's even more beautiful in real life. We stayed two nights in winter when it had -13 degrees. The hot tub, pool and sauna were extremely nice! We were lucky and saw the northern lights two nights in a row. We had an amazing stay!

We had a very comfortable stay here. There was a minor issue with the shower drain that they had fixed within a couple of hours while we were out sightseeing. We saw some amazing northern lights in the evening here. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for helping us have a memorable trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Monika&Siggi's! We were able to enter the location earlier and received emergency lighting upon arrival because a storm of code was predicted red. The cottage has beautiful views! The large windows give the feeling that you are exactly in the landscape. The cottages are far from each other so you have real privacy. Siggi also made the road to the cottage snow-free so you can easily drive to the door. Furthermore, the cottage has a comfortable kitchen, practical bathroom and lovely beds! It's worth it!

This is the second time we've stayed at Rauðenes, it seems we often bring severe weather with us! We had a great time, Fjola's place is great home base for days out, as well as a cozy place to stay for days in. We had a great time!

The house is very nice and clean. Easy to find. Very responsive host. The amenity is very impressive! Don’t forget to enjoy the hot spring and sauna when you stay here. The host is very nice and helpful too. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying with Elsa and Magnus! From start to finish we felt absolutely welcome especially from all the furry friends coming to our door. The kitchen, room and common areas were spotless and had everything you need! A welcome bonus was the delicious homemade bread left for us in the morning for breakfast!

This was such a peaceful and comfortable stay! The location was convenient to destinations on the Golden Circle, and the ability to do laundry saved us a great deal of time and money. We were there on a cloudy night, but I imagine this would be a tremendous location for northern lights viewing as it is away from light pollution and has a wonderful deck. The beds were super comfortable and everything was clean andthe kitchen well stocked. Great stay overall!
