This place is a gem and if you are in the area book it with no hesitation! On the first floor in a beautiful historycal buildind, the property offers a huge space, beautifully decorated, very confortable, clean and pleasant. From the nice kitchen to the coffee corner in the closed balcony, everything is super enjoyable in this place. The hosts are amazing, they left us a christmas tree with jolly lights inside what a joy this was!

Great stay, host welcomed us in and was very friendly. She also gave some local tips. The place was spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you need to cook. Beds were comfy and towels and lots of soaps were provided too.

We loved this house! It's in a very nice neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shops, the city pool (!), the big church, etc. Even the Netto grocery story is walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We made it our home base for a few days and took day trips to sights and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for more.

Björg is an amazing host! This was such a beautiful home! Everything about our stay was perfect. Extremely clean, breathtaking views of the property, wholesome home, close to all the sightseeing in the area. Laundry on site was great, beds were very comfortable, lots of sitting room and couches to relax and play cards! This stay was one of my favorite parts of our trip, I will always remember how great of a stay this was. We got a flat tire earlier in the day from our adventures but Björg and her husband saved the day by changing our tire for us! Such nice people! Overall our stay was absolutely perfect! We will 100% be back!!

LOVED this place! Apartment was beautiful and clean. We were provided with clear instructions on how to get in as well as photos of the entrances and where to park. The location was perfect with many places to eat right across the street, including a breakfast place that was very good. Was also provided with a list of recommendations which was helpful. It also wasn’t too loud there even with being right in downtown. I would definitely stay here again, I felt very comfortable and it had everything I needed. Thank you!

Probably our best stay and host of the trip, or at least very up there. Place was quiet and in walking distance of an Olis for a quick bite. Neighbourhood felt safe and quiet and peaceful. But above all, it truly was the host that stood out. Form the beginning of booking months ago until check out, Saever was nothing but super friendly, accommodating, remembered little details of our chats, kind, personable and just an all around good guy. He was such a pleasure to speak with and definitely made you feel welcomed. He checked in a few times to ensure everything wa s okay and let us know where everything was and was super responsive. Amazing host and the stay was amazing. Super clean and cozy. A very relaxing stay after driving a lot that day. Thank you friend!

Very responsive host. The apartment is large and we appreciated the space to spread out for a few days. There is a bakery and grocery store almost within eyesight. Takes about one minute to walk there. We really enjoyed our stay.

The studio was great and the people very friendly. The even filled up the hot pot for us in the evening. It was amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s close enough to be able to enjoy Akureyri but secluded enough to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I loved the sunrises, soaking in the hot tub and seeing the northern lights. So many beautiful places to explore nearby. Thank you Sólveig & Unnsteinn and we loved the furry friends too :)

A peaceful and quiet stay, perfect for relaxation. The hot tub in the evening was an absolute highlight—just what we needed to unwind after a long day. Highly recommended!

The best host we have had in our stay in Iceland, super attentive and pleasant. We were only staying for one night but we were caught by a snow storm and allowed us to stay an extra night completely for free. The morning after the storm they came to clean the way with the tractor and helped us get the car out. We can't be more grateful for the treatment they've given us.

Fantastic location, and a beautiful space with a great balcony. It was a clean space and easy to find.

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.

Very nice cozy place that felt right at home. Place was free of clutter and extremely spacious, extremely nice to have a washer and dryer that we were able to use! Would recommend this stay for anyone visiting
