Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hudson County

Jody's place was amazing. She's very friendly and proactive in providing advice. The place was exactly as described in the pictures. We loved it and will definitely be back!

The house was just like the pictures. However, a picture couldn't capture the tranquility and beauty of the view from the house and private large quiet patio. The swans passed by along w other birds! Walkable into town for restaurants, CVS or the local park/lake. A few blocks away was a well stocked little market owned by a hospitable man. The neighbors were very friendly; the community very safe. Easy driving on HWY 17 to many local places nearby, that includes the wineries.

My family was in town for a funeral, and we were able to book Victoria's home and save versus booking multiple hotel rooms. The location is minutes of I-95, so the home gave us a nice, central home base with a kitchen to get to everything and feed the kiddos between events. While we weren't looking for a beach trip - we were able to walk to the local beach and enjoy it with our young kids for a few hours over the weekend. The home was clean, comfortable, and worked perfectly for us. Communicating with Victoria was very easy, and check in/out was a piece of cake as there is a lock box on the house. If I need to bring the family back to the Stamford area, we'll definitely want to stay at Victoria's home again! Thanks!

We had a great time at Kristof’s airbnb. We had one issue where the fireplace was not working. Kristof answered super quickly and even came to the condo to replace the bulbs. Super nice and super accommodating. highly recommend

THE home in the country I've always dreamed of! No need to leave this house to feel like you're on vacation- everything is here. This place would be great to stay in during any month of the year. Amazing views from every window coupled with all kinds of interesting collectibles, books, toys and furniture inside. Super comfy beds. Doting hosts that make you feel pampered while simultaneously being unobtrusive. Perfect getaway for our very small family!

Bob’s house is wonderful! And Bob is an amazing host, he gave all the information needed including some tiny details about the house. The house, the breathtaking view, and the amenities inside make you feel right at home. We had one of the best family weekends. Thank you!

Firstly, the place is immaculate you can eat off the floor! No hair on the towels hoorayy! Yonghe is super nice, welcoming. We felt very comfortable there. Nice neighborhood, house surrounded by restaurants & bakeries. There's grocery & gas station near. Easy to use public transportation to get to ny city. Our first experience using public transportation in jersey/ny & its very straightforward & not too expensive. Will def be back. THANK YOU Yonghe! Jaci

Great stay close to the city, in a walkable area of Kearny. The home is large, nicely decorated and the furniture is comfy! Monique was lovely, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Our dog and kids loved the gated back area, and we all enjoyed our stay!

I was surprised, I thought it was smaller, it turned out to be very comfortable and Jon treated us very well.

I needed a sweet space to host my family for one night as they were coming in from out of town——Valerie’s places was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It was super warm and inviting and it has everything you need as a staycation home. Fully stocked. Complimentary wine and snacks . Great tv- Netflix and prime. Board games( jenga, dominoes, chess) Great cozy couch layout with enough room for more than 5 , amazing view and plush linens.—- we honestly loved our stay. Valerie her self is super responsive and her instructions easy to follow. The location is great. I highly recommend this stay.

Chingi was a very accommodating host and easy to communicate with. He had some rules that it seems like others struggled with but for our stay the rules were clear and fair

Ave Union is our home in NJ. We always stay here whenever we come to NJ and it has always been the best and still is the best! Everything stated on the descriptions are true and even way better. Nicole has been very attentive and kind to us, including every staff there. I didn't get everyone's names but they all have been the best. We love staying at Ave, it's a very safe location where you could also stroll or jog at the same time, perfect train access right outside the place. Going to NYC has been so easy! We are proud to say that we always will choose Ave, it's got all the things you need and the entire place is so cozy. We are so grateful for everyone's kindness and appreciate you all. I definately recommend this to anyone coming to NJ or NYC. It has always felt like a home and you can even hangout downstairs for some hot drinks. Thank you so much Ave, Nicole, and all the staff and neighbors. See you guys soon again. You guys take care always!

A great stay at Ave. Wonderful facility. Modern with great amenities. The staff were excellent. Personable and incredibly customer service focused. Just made the stay all the better. Recommend highly and commend all the staff for being top notch - from the front facing professionals to those behind the scenes keeping the place clean and operating smoothly. A great team! Martha‘s apartment is really nice, with everything one could want, very nicely furnished, well equipped and extremely clean. The neighborhood in Forest Hills is very nice, with a good public connection to the city and all one needs in walkable distance. One thing one should consider is that there is no complete separation of living and sleeping room as the wall is open at the ceiling. The hosts are very nice and responsive. Thank you very much, Martha and Dylan! We will be back.

We have stayed here several times. The Cottage has everything we need and Micaela has always been responsive to our questions. The location is quiet and easy to get to.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home for the holidays! The house is spacious and immaculately decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and inviting. The layout was perfect for hosting our family gatherings, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the cozy living areas were ideal for relaxing.. The quiet suburban setting offered a peaceful retreat, while still being close to everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting holiday memories. Highly recommend!
