Monthly Rentals in Hornby Island

We had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. From fresh flowers and eggs in the kitchen to a cozy fire already going to take the chill off a rainy day, every detail was thoughtful and appreciated. She offered great recommendations for local hikes and even helped us get in touch with a friend nearby—such kindness! The sweet horses on the property added to the charm, making our time here feel peaceful and connected to nature. This is a truly special place hosted by someone who clearly cares. Highly recommended—we’d return in a heartbeat.

My partner and I stayed for two nights at Ekta and Peters little cabin. It is such a unique, cozy and peaceful place. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and walked to a lovely beach to watch the sunset. Etka and Peter were lovely hosts and amazing artists. We loved seeing the chickens out scratching for bugs in the yard and the cats lazing in the sun. We highly recommend staying here.

My family had a great stay at Louise’s cottage. Easy to find and really lovely layout. The kids were excited to sleep in the loft bedroom on the second level and I was pleased there was a door to the bedroom to keep noise out in the evenings! The other two bedrooms on the main level are very comfortable and far apart from each other. There’s a small backyard off the deck, a rustic bridge over a stream and then Little Trib beach. We had a blast going to and from easily during our stay and knew ahead of time that the beach is considered “clothing optional” but Louise was kind enough to add this detail into our checking in information among some other helpful facts. We didn’t have any issues while we were in the cabin and felt all the details were thought of including everything you’d need to start a fire in the wood stove. We would absolutely stay again!

This place is absolutely stunning with unparalleled, breathtaking views! Lisen was a very responsive and kind host. We had a warm welcome and Lisen went above and beyond to provide us with a crib and high chair, ensuring our littles were comfortable. She provided many local recommendations which were great. The place is immaculate and has everything you need. Staying at Norra Hem was one of the best experiences as a family of 4 and we can't wait to come back!
