Monthly Apartment "GroLiving Kyoto"

Best Airbnb I've ever had. You felt right at home and everything was super clean. There is nothing missing and the furnishings are very thoughtful, so you have enough storage space. Mayumi is totally sweet and easily accessible for questions. The location is convenient as well. Quiet and close to the river Kamo, but still you can walk to downtown. Places such as the botanical garden or the Shimogamo Shrine are also easily accessible by bike.

Host Shinya is so kind of him and offered flexible check-in or check-out arrangement if it is available. The place is very cozy with very warm feeling. All facilities listed are provided. It is a great location recommended to stay esp on the arrival day as it is near airport, can be accessible by car or train easily.

Kyoto Seifu-an is a stylish and traditional Kyomachi-style inn that is clean and has modern facilities

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Outstanding location for our week of exploring Kyoto. Incredibly neat and clean and very comfortable beds. Small and efficient kitchen was great for our simple breakfast/snack needs. The only downside to this place was the cold bathroom in late February and early March. The toilet and shower is an add-on to the rest of the Airbnb. There is no heat in the bath other than the hot water and the heated toilet seat. That made for incredibly brisk morning showers. You take one step outside of the living room to open the door to the toilet and shower. Even with that inconvenience and the cold, this is a fabulous base of operations while visiting Kyoto. It's a terrific neighborhood.
