Cottage vacation rentals in Hana

we enjoyed our week long stay at Hank's place. the area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. Hank had a number of useful kitchen amenities and was very friendly and accommodating! thank you!

We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

We had a great stay at Alexandra’s. The apartment is very cute and clean, and it’s in a great location to enjoy Kihei. Just a few minutes driving from all the restaurants and beaches. At the same time, the neighborhood is very quiet and we woke up every morning with the sounds of birds singing.

Great place for exploring Maui, especially if you want to get away from the resorts and enjoy a cute Hawaiian town and upcountry. Margit’s place has everything you need (full kitchen, lanai, beach towels, w/d, filtered water….). Her cottage is well taken care of and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Top notch.

Definitely a great place in Wailuku close to everything and lots of great restaurants and cafes close by. Rooms were perfect with AC if needed, layout is good and instructions to getting inside was easy. Will stay here again when coming to visit Maui!

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Great views off the back lanai and so convenient being right along the road to Hana. Ahi poke and coffee at the nearest food truck area we enjoyed the most :)

If you are looking for a peaceful, adventurous, romantic getaway… this little cottage is the place you’ll never forget. You hear birds surrounded by a lush landscape, can see stars while soaking in the hot tub after your day of adventures, Cliff walk everyday, outdoor showers, fresh eggs and flowers make you feel like you are off the beating path. Great location to explore the island. Outstanding food, beach, and massage recommendations by Sharyn. We felt at home and it was hard to leave. We hope to return some day.

This place is a great location for anyone exploring the Road to Hana. We stayed two nights which was great because its impossible to see all of the Hana area in one day. The property is amazing. If you have any interest in exotic plants you will love it. I have never seen so many varieties of plants in one place like that in my entire life. It is just magnificent. The rental itself is great. It is a great example of living off grid but with amenities! Plus the view from the back of the rental is magnificent! We felt very at home and welcome our entire stay. If you go, give the local cat, Catman, a big hearty hello and a pat for me.

Nice stay in Hana, house is above town, which makes for a nice breeze and distant views of ocean. it's on a slightly busy road but set off it, so feels private. We did walk along it but there are no side walks so not really a pedestrian area. Near the beach and 1/2 mile from some decent food trucks. Kitchen well stocked, so easy to cook there. electric grill appreciated.

Jody's place is on a beautiful piece of property right on the road to the State park. It was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our time there. It is easy to get to the beaches/Hana town while also being secluded a relaxing. Jody was very responsive and made helpful suggestions on food, beaches, etc. The beds were super comfy and the internet streamed extremely well. The lanai was so nice for meals and the kitchen was easy to use to cook meals. Only cons (our stay was wonderful but FYI): the furniture in the living room isn't the most comfy, but we didn't spend too much time there and there are no shades in the master bedroom over two high windows. We were on CA time so we were up early, but the sun was extremely bright into the bed as soon as the sun rose and that could be frustrating for people who like to sleep in more.

This was a perfect location to get out of town. It was so clean and comfortable. The tub/shower was a bit difficult to get in and out of for this 50 something. But I managed it with the safety bar. I would stay here again.

Beautiful home- lots to walk to, and face it- you are in Maui! Very clean and bright inside, with perfect amenities. Great communication from Alexa. Maholo~

We had a great stay here . the unit was lovely and just as pictured. we cooked several meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. Definitely recommend staying here.

It was fun staying at Stephnie and Robert’s place. They was very responsive and answered all our questions quickly. They even offered us to setup and barbecue. The location was perfect for road to hana and the place was peaceful and lush green.
