We loved our stay at the Palm Lanka. Beautifully designed & decorated house, well located near beach & cafes. Suresh and Manel were the highlight, making us feel so welcome & comfortable. The meals - breakfasts & dinners - were amongst the best we have had in Sri Lanka & Suresh was extremely helpful with any requests we made. Highly recommend!

We would love to come again. Anali & prasanna & their family are absolutely lovely and will help you with everything. They make the best breakfast & curries too. Make friends with lots of different tuk tuk drivers & get there number because sometimes if you use a regular one their prices start to creep up. Recommend red beach and cactus restaurants. You’ll need a tuk tuk prob 700-1000 per tuk tuk one way. Recommend the tuk tuk beach tour too as you’ll find some stunning beaches with barely anyone there

Kingfisher at Khomba Lodge

Khomba was a beautiful place to stay! The rooms were nice and cool- beds comfy and showers wonderful. The whole property was peaceful and in a great location. The host and her staff were incredibly attentive. It was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of crashing waves and bird song and then to be able to go right outside for a morning swim in the pool or ocean. My family is already dreaming of our next stay.

We cannot describe how amazing our stay was. This is the best place in whole Sri Lanka. We stayed here with our 1.5y old toddler and we all loved the villa. Swimming pool is suitable for a kid and rooms are very nice and clean. Location also is great. Away from the city noise but close enough to the beach. Amazing host Kanishka drove us everywhere with his tuk tuk. We booked this place for 4 nights but we loved it here so much that we cancelled our flight and stayed 10 more days. And the best part of it is the familly who owns the villa. So kind and frendly people. They will do anything for you to make your stay unforgettable. Kanishkas mother can cook you the most amazing food. His sister and mother also babysit our toddler which was amazing. We felt like a part of their family. The kindest people we have met. There are monkeys coming by every morning and evening. Perfect additioin to superb villa. If you are visiting Sri Lanka we highly recommend this place. You will be in love.

the apartment was great because everyone had their own rooms. the pool was clean and very good. the owner was nice and helpful. the kitchen could be a little better but it did its thing to us. and one minus the fact that the cleaner or sheets had to be requested by themselves. the location was a total of 10. Everything was nearby. strong recommendation +++++

One of my favorite places to stay in Sri Lanka! I loved the place and the moments it allowed me to spend. There are only 2 cabins so it's still quite private. The rooms are very clean and although they are open (including the bathroom), they stay clean and I saw few bugs. There are of course mosquitoes (as everywhere here) but Shan's little girl makes sure to put mosquito candles around you as soon as possible and the mosquito net is in very good condition. The big plus of this property is Shan. Shan gave me a tour of Tangalle and the surrounding area during my stay. He is adorable and will know how to inform you. He brought me surfing, seeing baby turtles (in a place without any tourists), in the rice fields, at the fish market etc. Breakfast and dinner are also very good and the price remains correct. The accommodation is also very well located, 5-10mn walk from restaurants and the beach.

I booked Villa Chillax last minute as was let down by another accommodation, so had to quickly find something on the same day. Tharak and her husband were able to take my 3-night booking right away and the place was spotlessly clean when I arrived. I was also welcomed with a fresh juice and a warm greeting. The place was really nicely decorated and the bathroom and comfortable bed had luxurious feel and ambience. The private terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax and the garden just dreamy with lots of wildlife around. The nearest beach called Silent Beach was just over 5 mins walking distance and it was so pretty and secluded. There was also a lots of nice restaurants close by and my hosts provided a good Sri Lankan breakfast for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again. Really was a nice chilled place to stay :)

We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Tree Hill. The location is absolutely stunning, perched on a peaceful hill and surrounded by a lush garden of towering coconut trees, where you can see fireflies light up at night. There was direct access to a secluded beach, and we were especially grateful for how respectfully the staff treated the turtles nesting there. If you’re lucky, you might even witness this incredible sight on a guided night tour. Gayan and the entire team offered such warm, attentive service — we truly felt cared for throughout our stay. A lovely bonus was the company of their friendly, adorable dogs :) We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place to stay. Very close to silent beach, only a few minutes by foot. One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen here. Closeby to a local store and tuk tuks for easy transport. His family also supported with a taxi service, very friendly and reliable. Would highly recommended staying here.

12/10. The accommodation is truly fantastic! We stayed there as a couple, and it was an entire villa. The private pool is a dream, and the kitchen is excellently equipped. It’s very quiet and private, yet you can reach the beach and town incredibly quickly. The housekeeper is absolutely wonderful - so kind and helpful. We would come back anytime and are really sad to leave after just two nights. If you have the chance to book this accommodation, do it!!
