Houseboat vacation rentals in Haarlemmermeer

Fantastic spot and perfect for our business meeting. Quiet, private and clean! Would 100% book again!!

There were four of us on Jan's houseboat. The boat is in a quiet area, close to the Olympic center. Just outside, to the center of Amsterdam by metro about 20 minutes. The houseboat was cozy and clean, Jan personally greeted us on the first day and the contact was very nice. There are 4 bicycles available, but we did not use them as the Dutch have too fast a driving style...🫣 we had 4 great days in Amsterdam and on the houseboat.

Kay and Santiago were extremely helpful and hospitable, they were highly responsive and very accomodating when we asked about leaving our baggage at the property + checking out late. The houseboat is in a lovely location, close to public transport but also easily walkable to different suburbs and surrounding areas. It is exactly as listed, easily accessible and comfortable for 4 people to stay in. Santiago was kind enough to send a very helpful list of recommendations for the city, would definitely recommend and hope to book here again.

Albert was great communicating with us in advance.. his houseboat is nice and cozy. the road blockage is a little annoying adding to our walk, but it was not added big deal and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. the place is comfy, everything works, and is really convenient. highly recommend

Had an amazing stay in Sietske’s houseboat for our last night in Amsterdam. There were lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the boat is very close to central station! Sietske helped us to check in early and was very kind in giving us local recommendations. A lovely stay!

We stayed at Anouks boat house in the winter so didn't really have the time or daylight to explore with the boat but I imagine spring and summer would be great, the boathouse was aways warm and spacious, plenty of room for 4 of us. We all loved the boathouse and would definitely recommend it.The train station was a short walk and the trains were very regular, so no problems getting to and from the city.

A lovely few days staying at Karinas boat house - the location is super handy, easy to get to the centre via the ferry, close to amenities (amazing restaurant a 1 minute walk away!) and such a unique stay. Having a morning cup of tea with the ducks in the morning was a real highlight 🥰 thoroughly recommend.

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

We spent a family holiday with our two awakening children in Justin's floating house between Christmas and New Year's Eve. It was ideal to have time together in peace. The house is clean and modernly furnished, the heating is wonderfully warm even in winter and you have everything you need. Most of the time we took a trip to Rotterdam, Amsterdam or the sea during the day, which is only 30-45 min. away. In the evening we cooked, played, read or watched a movie in the house. Everything was great, and highly recommend it.

Easy to find. Host speaks only Dutch, but has prepared well with a translation app. The location is very quiet and you can walk to the bus to Amsterdam

Coming from German heritage, I really felt at home at the water villa. My grandfather and father always kept manicured landscapes at their houses, everything was so organized and pristine surroundings.- this describes the water villa to a tee. The water side was so serene- close enough and walkable to many restaurants, bike rental etc… and far enough away from the busy canal traffic. The outdoor space cannot be matched, as the garden area is just as nice as the waterside lounge. Host was very good in communication and check in and out was a breeze. I would love to bring my parents here next year, my kids and I had such a memorable time! …what a great and unique experience!

Wonderful and unique experience at the houseboat! It was spacious, unique, close to groceries, shops, and restaurants, an easy walk to public transportation and, really, to many sights in Amsterdam. We all (my children especially) fell in love with Pepper the friendly cat. Fern was so easy to work with and super responsive whenever we had a question. We really appreciated the kitchen; it had all the cooking utensils, plates, pots, etc. that we could ask for, as well as some oil, spices, etc. The rest of the boat was comfortable, charming, and modern. A fantastic home base while in Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful couple of days in this fabulous boat. It was so clean and well thought out. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck in beautiful February sunshine. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. It was a fabulous choice for my first visit to Amsterdam, the area around it is beautiful and full of delightful houses. We found a bar called Joost close by and really enjoyed a couple of nights here. Katarina and Ralph were fabulous hosts who made us feel very welcome indeed. Thank you 10 stars out of 5 for us.

This houseboat is a true magical dream paradise. It’s cozy, does not seem small at all, and has all the touches to make it feel TRULY like your home in Amsterdam… the hammock and outdoor patio, the big couch and pull-down projector screen, the fully equipped kitchen, the incredibly comfortable bed. Unlike some places that feel like soulless hotels, this is a beautiful, warm, welcoming home. I absolutely will be coming back here when I visit Amsterdam in the future.

This houseboat was perfect! So stylish and in the utmost perfect location. Walkable from the train station. Grocery store is one block over and the cutest coffee shops (Actual coffee from the bean not the other kind) and pubs. We were there during the Taylor Swift concert and Holland's big soccer match. We slept like babies even with the large crowds. The little seating area facing the water for perfect for morning coffee. Jordann neighborhood is the perfect place to stay!

Me and my friends stayed in the Surla Houseboat for a couple days once finishing a month long round trip of Europe, it’s safe to say it was the perfect place to wind down and get some headspace. The weather is lovely, the houseboat is just perfectly and in an absolutely stunning location, I highly recommend watching the sunset from the roof seating.

We were on the houseboat with two adults and two children (11 + 13 years) for an extended weekend. It was really fun! Especially for the two teenagers. The houseboat is new, clean and exploring the area with the small dinghy (tender) was a great experience for everyone. However, a mosquito net for the bed is recommended. Even in October it is still warm enough in the boat and the small oven (pellet) is completely sufficient for this time of year. The price is fine, because entertaining the houseboat seems quite elaborate to me.

We had a great stay at this well-appointed, cozy and clean houseboat. Nice furnishings and comfy bed! Only downside on some days were the planes coming over on their way to the airport.

It was lovely staying at Frans’. Very peaceful and calm. A nice getaway from the busy city! The place was spotless, the bed was very comfy, and I loved the shower !

We had a wonderful weekend on Robbert's boat. Easy arrival, very nice stay, super quiet and everything you need on board! 100% recommended if you are looking for a quiet weekend in nature and on the water. Would definitely do it again!

Super nice location on the water and very nice to have a boat with you. We had beautiful weather so that makes a place like this completely top. Lots of nice sailing routes in the neighborhood. The houseboat is well furnished, with BBQ, full kitchen and with the small things such as pepper, salt, dishwasher cubes, tea and coffee. Toilet is a little getting used to. And beware of many mosquitoes. Our rooms were underneath. Rooftop terrace has fantastic views and nice pillows.

Mandy’s place was beautiful, just like in the photos. We had a great time and would love to visit again during the warmer months!
