Monthly Rentals in Guánico Abajo

We absolutely loved our stay at the Surfside bungalows! Guanico Abajo is such a cool little place off the beaten path if you really want to stay away from the tourist traps. There’s a surf break right out front of the property and Thomas and Linda have surfboards available for rent. There’s a couple little restaurants within walking distance and a fully stocked grocery store about a 10 minute drive away. We rented a vehicle for our stay, which was very helpful because it is a ways from amenities if you want to cook for yourself. The place had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. A cleaner came a week in which was a nice bonus and there’s a neighbour who will look after any laundry you might have. You can order pizza on Sunday nights from a local bakery, they also come by Saturday mornings with freshly baked croissants and other delicious pastries. There’s also a fruit and vegetable guy that comes by once a week so you can get local produce right at the front door.

Awesome place in an awesome spot. Everyone involved was friendly, courteous, helpful and absolutely accommodating. Front to back a good experience, I am bringing my kids back with me in the spring and we are staying there again. House is extremely comfortable and peaceful in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. I recommend it.

Agustín and Elena are excellent hosts, of the best we have ever had. Always with a good recommendation of the place and you can see that they like a lot. We were able to take advantage and learn to surf, visit a river, we met Duki a dog that always accompanied us, we met a bull called Juan, we visited the nests of turtles. We saw howler monkeys. Finally, I loved the location!! Highly recommended!!!

La Brisa was a great place for our first month in Cambutal! Only a 5-10 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. The place was clean, and the area is stunning! We felt super safe here and Kristoffer was an amazing host -- super responsive via Whats app with answers to all our questions. :)
