Monthly Rentals in Glendree Lower

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage. I was a nervous driver, new to Ireland’s country roads, so getting to the house was a little scary, but we loved the privacy the place held once there. Definitely a rustic cabin, but appreciated the supplies keeping the fire roaring for nice hot showers and baths. As an American, I was probably more disappointed by having no freezer or a way to keep ice, but that’s just me. My husband and I enjoyed the nights playing scrabble and reading. Truly a place to be immersed in Irish country bliss.

Denis and joyce are amazing hosts from start to finish of our stay. There is everything you could need in the cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped even spices and oils for cooking. The cottage was spotless. Denis was great with advice of local places to go and things to see. Feakle is a lovely village, the people very friendly. We would highly recommend a stay here. We will be back. Ireland is amazing.

This was a beautiful and peaceful cottage and surroundings. A great place to lay your head after a busy day. Would 100% recommend and will undoubtedly return when staying in the area again. Thanks Majella.

Gorgeously remote! - which was exactly what we wanted, so with this we expected a slightly bumpy road on the way to the property but it was more than doable, so don't let that put you off staying here. It was a truly magestic location, with the small garden full of birds even with two friendly cats saying hello near by! The cottage was made cozy too, and kitchen well equipped! all very thoughtfull and considered. Would happily stay again ☺️
