House vacation rentals in Gillespie County

The home was perfect! Our home is under massive construction and we were trying to figure out what to do for the holidays with our 4 adult children and their partners coming in from various parts of the State. The home offered exactly what we needed to spend time together, relax in the hot tub, visit local restaurants and do some shopping. We even opened all of our presents there and they had a Christmas tree! That almost made me cry because we didn’t have a tree this year…it was truly wonderful. We felt right at home. So thankful!!!

Loved this stay! Felt right at home and everything was clean! Brought two dogs and they loved the patio. Main street was walking distance. Was given lots of recommendations of where to go and what to eat that was really helpful :)

We took a trip with our family and children 9 adults and 5 toddlers (4 under 4). The place was beautiful and large enough for all of us to sleep and entertain comfortably. The essentials and more were readily available and Aide was so responsive and attentive to our needs and questions. The home had a large yard with a few toys and playsets for the kids to run and enjoy. The pool was fenced off and closed (which was a big deal for us with littles). The house does not have any gates or fences and the property is right off a regularly busy road, so if you have little runners, it could be an issue. But other than that, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely reconsider this home on future trips to Fredericksburg.

This property was properly named as the ‘Sunshine Hause’. It makes you feel warm as soon as you enter. Checkin was seamless and Bunk was very kind and responsive. It’s a perfect home for a larger group. There was space for everyone and many areas to gather. The outside patio is beautiful and the hot tub made for a perfect ending to the cool evenings. The house is only a few blocks from Main Street, which made for easy and convenient access to the shops, eateries and some wineries. I highly recommend this house for your stay in Fredericksburg.

We celebrated my daughter’s 20th birthday at this location with a total of 8 of us. There was more than enough room for all of us and it had everything we needed. Absolutely beautiful house and property! We’ll definitely be back and would refer it to anyone who asked. Perfect little pool with hot tub in the back and outdoor facilities to play games and watch tv. It also felt very private. Thank you for making our weekend a huge success!

Great home in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Very peaceful and secluded. Hearing the spa in the evening was a great treat. Also, great to wake up to deer in the front yard. Bonus…the garage is available to park your car in!

Truly one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Very close to downtown Fredericksburg, but felt like you were out in the country. Absolutely perfect for a large group of friends to stay after a day at the wineries. Highly recommended.

It was exactly as described… cute little cottage located in a neighborhood that was peaceful and walkable to town. This place was decorated so cute and quite spacious. It was so peaceful in the mornings and evenings. We absolutely loved it!

WOW! Just WOW! The house was immaculate, very comfortable and welcoming. The beds were comfy and the linens were soft as butter!!! The entire house was pristine and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was adequately stocked. Darren & Kelly also left us a couple bottles of wine to welcome us and to enjoy during our stay. Very nice touch!!! Unfortunately, we had wet and cold weather during our stay but we would have absolutely utilized the amazing outdoor space, weather permitting. We didn’t have any hiccups during our trip but I have no doubt that Darren or Kelly would have responded promptly if we had. They were proactive with interacting with me prior to our arrival, as well as during our stay to make sure everything was good. The house rules and exiting instructions were the most reasonable and easiest I’ve ever experienced with any previous rentals. I would ABSOLUTELY stay at Gardenia Haus again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoyed staying at location. Very clean, nice quiet spacious. Beds were comfortable, showers were big. If you have a large guess count, this is the place to stay. Lots of room. No complaints. Will definitely stay there again next time we are in town.

We had a delightful stay at the farmhouse! It was quiet but plenty to do for guests of all ages. The house has been renovated with modern conveniences while keeping the character of an old house. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, I LOVED the front porch swings! While of vintage character, the stove was easy to use - nice wine glasses. We were sorry to not be able to use the fire pit surrounded by rocking chairs - some other time!

The Petunia House was PERFECT for our weekend getaway! It was right off of main street, so we never had to drive anywhere! Clean, tidy, aesthetically pleasing, quiet, perfect! We will be going back for sure!!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic!! Very responsive and very helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out and they were able to remotely let us in! Even though it was late! We will definitely be staying again!

The house was absolutely perfect for our trip! It was so clean and well-maintained, and we immediately felt at home. It was an ideal spot for us, especially since the wedding we attended was just 11 minutes away. The location was incredibly convenient, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches you put into making the space comfortable and welcoming. We’d love to stay here again next time we’re in Fredericksburg.

Came here to spend a quiet weekend with my patenter and a couple friends on last minute notice. The pictures don’t do the place justice—it’s clean, spacious, and the hosts are very welcoming! My only regret: we spent so much time out enjoying the beautiful weather that we barely spent any time enjoying the house :)
