Ericka and her husband created a small paradies within this beautiful area of Java! A perfect base to explore Mount Ijen or many other highlights of the surroundings. They offer amazing foor in their own restaurant and can help you with planning tours etc.! The pool area and swimming spot in the natural river is just amazing! Make sure to stay here if planning to visit East Java!

It was a wonderful week. At first we planned to spend only 4 days in this house, but the way the girl who takes care of the house took care of us made us feel cared for and cozy. We liked it so much that we stayed for another 3 days. She was the best assistant in all matters and helped with everything. Many thanks to the owners of the house and the girl Mila for this vacation. The house is really nice, we lived in a huge room with an exit to the courtyard, right to the pool. We had a large kitchen with many tools and utensils. Everything was gorgeous.

The house was small, clean, and beautifully designed, making it feel very cozy. However, the address on Airbnb was incorrect, which led us to the wrong location on a bad road at night, making it extremely hard to return. We eventually found the right place on Google Maps and needed a video call from the host to figure out where to go—quite a challenge after a 7-hour journey. At night, a nearby celebration made it hard to rest before our early trip to Ijen. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the stay. The staff was super friendly, and after our hike, we had an amazing breakfast that made up for the rough start!

The location is very secluded and private, the house is surrounded by nature, beautiful garden with palm trees and the ocean. There is a small beach right in front of the property, it’s enclosed by rocks on both sides so it feels very private, the ocean is calm or with small waves so it’s perfect for swimming, which is hard to find in Bali. The nearby village is very small, there are practically no supermarkets or restaurants, so we choose to do our shopping at the local market and cook meals ourselves. Herman was very understanding and adjusted the breakfast to our diet. He also provided baby crib for our baby and was very helping and welcoming throughout our stay. We decided to climb a Ijen volcano, Herman recommended his friend Sofian as a guide, he was very knowledgable and fun, thanks to him or adventure was amazing, safe and well managed. He also helped to find a great nanny Desa. Our time here felt like we’re in paradise, it’s absolutely worth the long drive. Thank you! 🙏
